Very friendly reception plus the manager gave me a lift to the venue for the party I was attending and insisted on not charging me. Availability of vegetarian breakfast would encourage me to bring me partner on another occasion

Staff friendly, room to a high standard and well equipped
The only bad point is the restaurant next door only sold Indian food, having said that there is a good restaurant 200 metres down the road.

Very friendly staff. Restaurant food was of a very high standard. Room; clean comfortable, well appointed & quiet. Exceptional breakfast.
Zero! If you have trouble with stairs, request a first floor room.

Price was good, location was easy to find and breakfast was delicious, particularly the coffee. A break from the instant stuff with a fresh pot of french pressed was welcome! Also loved the Indian place next door. A bit pricey, but the food was good. Also appreciated the willingness to accommodate late check-in and complimentary car park.
Road noise, but not that terrible. With the windows closed, not really a problem.

Excellent room, very comfortable, clean, good, varied choice of breakfast menu, staff were very attentive
Quite a lot of passing traffic noise - had to have windows open as it was very warm - but this only a minor point which cannot be helped due to the location.

Lovely views over fields, clean room, helpful reception. Fantastic Pub Landford Poacher five minute walk.
A tiny bit noisy next to the road, windows were open though due to hot weather which may have made it seem worse.

Very pleasant and helpful reception. Clean room with rural outlook.
Breakfast was expensive if you only wanted 'basic continental' There was only one price for both full English breakfast and continental breakfast. Road noise, even at the back of the hotel, was bad during the night.

This is a well-run hotel that provided a wonderful base from which to explore the New Forest. The decor was pleasant; the rooms clean; and the bathrooms nicely updated. We enjoyed the breakfast selection and the generous portion of freshly brewed coffee.

Very clean/well presented, excellent large and comfortable bed. Staff were extremely helpful.

A warm welcome and the proprieter showed me to my room which was tastefully furnished. An efficient shower and fluffy white towels in the spotless bathroom. A comfortable bed, an excellent TV and a good breakfast.

Only had Indian cuisine Restaurant, as I am pregnant can't eat spicy food but I should have checked before making the booking.

Nice and quiet, and a pleasant situtation on the edge of the Forest, though on a quite main road. Nice pub 3 minutes walk away
None really - the Indian restuaraunt next door was rather overpriced, and check in is difficult after 8.00 pm
