Staff were plesent and helpful on arrival. Room was clean and well equiped for our stay.
Lighting in our room was poor. Restaurant was comfortable, but the quality of our meal was below an acceptable standard.

Manor Hotel, Yeovil - Reviews & Ratings"Overall great stay, fantastic breakfast and friendly staff. " (107799375)
Thought the staff were excellent- friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also excellent- good choice and much better than expecting. We stayed on a promotional offer so great value for money- would have been dissappointed with the standard of the room if we had paid full price, but it was clean and had everything you need just not very luxurious.I will say the bed lovely and very comfy.

Manor Hotel, Yeovil - Reviews & Ratings"Adequate but not enough to make us want to return to the hotel for another visit." (107416415)
The room was OK but Tv was not of brilliant quality. Breakfast as part of deal was good food.
The shower did not drain and finished up ankle deep in water - was reported but problem still not solved after our 3 day visit. Service of staff in the restaurant was not very outstanding and whilst eating breakfast people were coming through to attend training courses in the next room.

Hotel very poorly decorated and in need of renovation in some key places. Service at breakfast was surley and slow. The chap at reception was polite and efficient, though

Manor Hotel, Yeovil - Reviews & Ratings"Well positioned for the centre of Yeovil, it surpassed our expectations" (107189434)
Partially renovated room, new bathroom and twin beds with very good mattresses. Excellent breakfast choice and very good service. Bar staff very obliging and prices reasonable. Good parking
Being an insulin diabetic a fridge in room would have been helpful to keep insulin stock at correct temperature

Manor Hotel, Yeovil - Reviews & Ratings"A well converted period house set in a central location but off the main streets of the town. The facilities were more than adequate for my weekend stay and would undoubtably suit a longer visit. A further visit would be considered to sample more of the facilities and services on offer both in the hotel and the surrounding area." (97871041)
Excellent period house providing a good standard of accommodation and services (as used) in a good central location but away from the maddening crowd.
Not a lot to dislike in a short weekend.

Manor Hotel, Yeovil - Reviews & Ratings"Our stay was pleasent 98% of the time and again we must stress that the staff were helpful and friendly and the food excellent. An idea would have been to keep families with small children on the ground floor due to the creaking and low sound proofing of the rooms." (97375372)
Parts of the hotel are older with character and warm, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the meals were excellent. The rooms were clean and the bed linen and towels clean and fresh. Plenty of drinks and biscuits supplied daily.
The conservatory where we had breakfast, had some issues with some of the decor not being clean. The pillows were old and very lumpy, and floorboards in the bedroom above creaked loudly, making noise an issue at night.

Manor Hotel, Yeovil - Reviews & Ratings"On the upside the satff were friendly, attentive, helpfull and approachable, however for the money poor value, entrance to annex was near obstructed by numerous bags of dirty linen awaiting pick up (which remained from the evenining of check in to the next morning. Food can be dscribed as reasonable pub food (frozen chips, pale looking grilled hard tomato, etc but the steak was good). Even though my company will pay the bill, at say " (99496824)
location, old world charm of the building
faded carpets, threadbare seating in the bar, food was at best average, dirty windows in room, bathroom curtain needed changing (smelly)

Manor Hotel, Yeovil - Reviews & Ratings"I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel again, it has character and style, but do expect other people moving around to disturb you - it's an old building. Breakfast was enough to set you up for the day. Make sure you get a parking pass from reception as the hotel is close enough to the town centre for them to have pay & display parking for non-residents." (99866414)
Nice hotel, brilliant location, excellent food & friendly staff
Old building so creaking floors were distracting. Single bed was small and no hot water in shower!
