The Otmoor Lodge, Oxford - Reviews & Ratings"Most wonderul, food was delicious." (108045062)
Christian was wonderful, and the other staff excellent!
Just the window in my room allowed too much light and I had taken a flight that kept me from sleeping, so it was unusual and not to worry! I think if I had remembered to bring my sleeping blinders it would have resolved the issue.

The Otmoor Lodge, Oxford - Reviews & Ratings"As a lone traveller it is important that I feel confident and secure in the hotels that I am staying in. The hotel was excellent, the facilities were clean, in good working order and extremely comfortable. The staff on duty were very professional and ensured that as a lone person my every need was met, right down to where I preferred to sit for my evening meal!" (97768688)
The staff were extremely attentive and helpful.

The Otmoor Lodge, Oxford - Reviews & Ratings"Excellent! Staff were accommodating, efficient and friendly. Wonderful food in pleasant surroundings. A real shame that there weren't more customers as The Lodge deserves to be supported." (97072164)
Clean and comfortable. The Balcony and view were an added bonus. It felt very private. Very good overall.

The location, a beautiful part of the country and easy access to Heathrow was the reason we booked. The Hotel itself was well appointed, and staff friendly.
The room was totally inadequate, was under the eaves, and not what we had hoped for as a last night in style after a 5 week vacation visiting friends and attending a family wedding. Very disappointed with the facilities.

The Otmoor Lodge, Oxford - Reviews & Ratings"Lovely little hotel, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Manager was very welcoming, and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive without being stuffy. The room was well finished, and the bed was very comfortable. Patio doors in the room didn't open though, the shower in the bathroom wouldn't switch on, and the bathroom floor could have been cleaner." (99098785)
Nicely appointed and decorated. Small and cosy layout.
Patio doors didn't open, shower wouldn't turn on.

The Otmoor Lodge, Oxford - Reviews & Ratings"Staff helpful and friendly. Interior designs were very stylish, suggesting a food style that might be similar and interesting. But the food was OK, but did not match the expectation of the modern contemporary interior." (99528774)
Room spec was good, bed good and bathroom spec OK. The duvet was somewhat small and thin. See comment about lack of warmth.
But bathroom badly let down badly by an electric shower, which was not very effective, and by basin height set far too low. Also the room temperature was set too cold, with no obvious thermostat to adjust.

The Otmoor Lodge, Oxford - Reviews & Ratings"Lovely clean rooms. Excellent service from staff at the hotel. Breakfast was exceptional. Thanks Chef. Totally enjoyable stay. Would return in a hurry, no problems. If you want a hotel which is close to Oxford and in the countryside. This is the one, about six miles to oxford city centre. Thanks again to all the staff at The Otmoor Lodge. Thanks Peter Adams" (3304900566)
The hotel room had a balcony and overlooked a stable countryside etc..., very nice indeed. Beautiful location.

"As is the case these days, I expected the usual poor standard of hotel, room, restaurant that I have sadly experienced so many times in the UK. What a really pleasant surprise I had. Welcoming staff, a very clean and decently appointed room with good bathroom, a very pleasant bar, and wonderful food! The dinner was exceptional, breakfast was one of the best I have had for years in a hotel, and the staff are some of the finest I have met it years of travel. If they were marked out of ten, I would give them twenty points." (97856848)
it was clean, well staffed, welcoming and quiet.
Nothing - it was a very pleasant stay.
