Very convinient check in and check out times. Thank you.
I thought the breakfast was horrible even for continental standard there was not much choice. Worse for me I am on a protein only diet. I ended up just having coffee and a slice of cheese. I think continental plus cooked breakfast so people can make their choice. I booked 2 rooms one for 2 people and 1 for 1 person and got charged the same amount why is that? Thank you.

cleanliness and staff friendly and polite.
room hospitality very sparce giving that two people were in the room. not a great selection of breakfast not an option to pay for a cooked breakfast which was nor specified on the online booking, toasters wernt working, butter and cheeses were warm as chiller was not working.

The hotel was ideally placed for the business I had to carry out. Staff were friendly and helpfull. Hotel was clean and tidy and buffet breakfast good.
I did not notice it when booking on line but I was given a smoking room and was not asked while checking in. As it was for only one night there was no problem as the room was clean and would not have recognised it as such except for the notice on the door.

Very impressed.Room and bathroom lovely and clean. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.Breakfast nice.
Room was facing main road which made it quite noisy so not a good nights sleep.

value for money is excellent and staff were really pleasant.a lot better than the last time we stayed there!!
i booked a disabled room with a double bed- ended up with a twin room and a near to a walk in shower as you can get,at least i didn't have to climb over a bath to have a shower!the staff gave us 4 chocolate bars and a couple of drinks for giving us the wrong room,which we found acceptable.the twin beds were a bit difficult for me,as i am disabled.we could have done with a couple've biscuits in the room.

I had to amend my booking the day before and the staff were very helpful in doing this for me.
They room would have benefited from more lighting and plug sockets, had to unplug kettle to use hair straighteners.

It was comfortable and adequate for an qvernight stay. The breakfast was excellent.
The room was quite dark due to the positioning of the window and there was a smell of stale water every time the wash basin was used

Beds were very comfortable and if you needed anything such as extra bedding they were very helpful
Could do with some things like extra sugar and teabags and milk for teas and coffees in the room and also more towels as there was a minimal amount for a family

I looked on line for Hotels in that area, and compared to a lot of other Hotels the Holiday Express was one of the cheapest with very good facilities. I had already stayed at a Holiday Inn when I attended my friends Wedding in September at Guildford and was also very impressed with this, so decided to book it. We arrived Friday night and left Sunday Morning and the staff at reception were both very friendly and efficient. This Hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere especially at Breakfast Time when you can help yourself to as much Coffee and Continental Breakfast as you require and can sit and read the morning papers whilst eating. Overall the weekend break was very enjoyable and when we visit our friends again I will certainly be coming back to this Hoel." (3304002365)

Perhaps the bulk of visitors are business-orientated, but even still, would have been nice to know of other places in the vicinity, ie. Pub next door, 10-pin bowling nearby etc." (2761152)
The room was very clean and the hotel was surprisingly quiet
The breakfast buffet was appalling, had to hunt for a clean cup, but then there were no teaspoons. Bread/roll selection was poor. Breakfast area not large enough for the amount of people staying.

It may be of a haphazard, where visitors come and go in the reception area and people carrying hot food from the microware cross path with people in the reception area. But overall, I found the hotel very nice and convenient from M5 and M6 motorway, and have helpful staff." (2636563)
Accommodation rooms are kept very clean with comfortable beds, well designed with convenient accessories and easy access to reception area of the hotel. Continental breakfast is well provided for, and staffs are very helpful.
The hotel could provide better sign post entrance and exit signs which needs to be more visual for visitors at the start of the drive in and when exiting from the car park. The present entrance sign is seen after turning into the driveway near some bushes, and there are no exit sign from the car park indication to turn left or right to exit.

Excellent value for money, very clean and tidy.
After checking in, the key card didnt open the room door. Had to return to the reception another twice before getting one that worked. No soap in the dispenser by the shower. Breakfast team understaffed.
