Colwall Park Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, Malvern - Reviews & Ratings"A very pleasant overnight stay with good facilities and a very friendly and welcoming staff." (107758283)
Lovely overall experience in the Hotel. Bathroom could do with a shelf above the basin and remove the shelf in the current location as it is glass and at shoulder height for most people. When using the facilities at night the shelf could be walked into causing injury.

Colwall Park Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, Malvern - Reviews & Ratings"Overall very pleasant and relaxing." (97113571)
Nice country house hotel ambience. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Restaurant = very good menu; food was great.
Nothing bad but just a couple of points: restaurant waiting staff mix of clearly experienced and clearly inexperienced; maybe some better or longer training and/or supervision of inexperienced staff would have resulted in a slicker service. The restaurant desserts were so delicious it would have been great to have seen a dessert 'taster' option on the menu.

Colwall Park Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, Malvern - Reviews & Ratings"The Colwall Park Hotel is very friendly. The staff are efficient and capable while also being pleasant. But the star of the show is the Chef: the food is wonderful! Be sure to have the Pear and Blueberry Frangipane Tart with Blueberry Sorbet, if you can." (3304310943)
The food.
There's only one veggie option on the menu, but do ask for a change if you are staying more than one night, because they are happy to do something else.

Colwall Park Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, Malvern - Reviews & Ratings"Staying at the Colwall Park was a genuine pleasure." (108088216)
Cordial but very professional service from all members of staff. Entirely attentive and helpful in response to every need. Allowed me to check-in and rest when I arrived at 10:30 a.m. following a sleepless overnight flight. Beautiful room. First class dining. Lovely location and ambience.

Colwall Park Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, Malvern - Reviews & Ratings"We would happily stay here again, but on a lower floor with full height ceilings." (108043964)
Delicious food, both in restaurant and bar. Friendly, helpful staff. Centrally located in beautiful village.
Top floor room (3rd floor, no lift) with peaked roof not suited for taller people. Shower corner in bathtub was very uncomfortable, due to roofline and size.

Colwall Park Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, Malvern - Reviews & Ratings"Very good." (108091063)
The staff were very friendly and good humoured. The garden is lovely and the food excellent value with much local produce used. Everywhere very clean.
Decor tired but all equipment in the room very good and new so I imagine the budget may allow for redecoration in the future.

Colwall Park Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, Malvern - Reviews & Ratings"I BOOKED INWTH NO TROUBLE AND WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE STAY. DUE TO THE DEATH OF A FAMILY MEMBER AND CONSEQUENT FUNERAL I COULD NOT TAKE UP THE HOTEL AS I HAD BOOKED. AS SOON AS I RECEIVED MY COMPUTOR BACK FROM REPAIR I CANCELLED. THIS WAS 6 DAYS BEFORE MY DUE DATE. AT 6 DAYS THIS HOTEL MAKES YOU PAY FULL PRICE FOR YOUR ROOM READING THERE POLICY AFTER 3DAYS I DONOT THINK YOU PAY ANYTHING. I AM DISGUSTED. I WAS PREPARED TO PAY HALF PRICE FOR MY SINGLE ROOM PLUS SUPPLEMENT FOR SINGLE OCCUPENCY INSTEAD OF WHICH I HAVE BEEN CHARGED £80.00. THIS I THINK FOR AS THEY SAY A 6 DAY CANCELLATION IS TOO MUCH AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM OR YOU IN THE FUTURE AT THIS HIGH PRICE. AN ALTERNATIVE DATE WAS NOT POSSIBLE AS I WAS GOING TO THE MALVERN QUILT SHOW AND COULD ONLY GO THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AS I HAD ANOTHER COMMITMENT ON THE SATURDAY. I SUGGEST ANYONE READING THISBOOKS ELSE WHERE INCASE YOU ALSO HAVE TOCANCEL." (97461556)

Colwall Park Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, Malvern - Reviews & Ratings"I found it to be a very relaxing place with a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The menu was varied and the food was very good. My room was a good size and very comfortable with all that is needed for a pleasant stay. The cost of the stay, which included breakfast (which was excellent),was an acceptable price for the quality of the accommodation." (97209633)
Relaxed atmosphere, food very good, service very good. Very traditional to match the age of the building and tasteful.
In some areas it had the smell of an old building but I found that acceptable as everything was in keeping with the age.

Colwall Park Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, Malvern - Reviews & Ratings"The main reason for staying here - in a single room - as a business traveller is to enjoy excellent food. The single rooms are small with a single bed, however there are lounges that can be used. I cant comment on the double rooms, but I would expect them to be much more welcoming. The service and staff are good and friendly and overall I enjoyed my stay, and would return, but perhaps in double room next time." (2411154)
Food was fantastic - and the reason that I booked a room at the hotel. I ate in the bar, and that was every bit as good as if I had been in the restaurant in terms of cooking - fantastic smoked haddock tempura!
The single room at 70 pounds seemed expensive for what it provided - small & single bed (not usual these days). Decor getting a bit tatty, especially in bathroom. Some more creature comforts in room would have made me forget these - cafetiere with proper coffee, fresh milk provided automatically when checking in, more than one small bottle of water

Colwall Park Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, Malvern - Reviews & Ratings"Very pleased with stay and excellent service from friendly staff. Lots of little touches which demonstrated that the hotel had gone to a lot of effort to personalise the hotel rather than it being the usual sanitised accommodation. You did not feel that profit was the prime motivator, rather good service. When very busy staff did show some stress and minor errors were made." (97935152)

Colwall Park Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, Malvern - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel located was too close to the road and was in a residential area, where as, the picture on the net did not show this.We were expecting a more picturesque location. The rooms were clean but were not good value for the money. The pictures of the rooms on the net were misleading. The rooms were very expensive with comparision to other places that we have stayed. The beds were very springy and bouncy, not comfortable and could not sleep well. The service was good and the bar area was also good. Food was excellent." (3304764701)
General Cleanliness and Service. Food was excellent
Rooms. Value for money. Beds.

Dated furniture and small tv. Food was expensive.

Spacious room with good bathroom facilities. Even though room faced road it was very quiet with little traffic.
Heating turned up too high - turned it off as the room was warm enough without heating even in November.
