Central, convenient to the lake, amenities and old town. Corner room had three large windows so very light.
A little more variety at breakfast would have been welcome but overall was adequate. Proper storage space in the bedroom would be an improvement, instead of a curtained off alcove.

lightness of decor, not fussy, tasteful, sparkling clean shower room, fantastic, gnerous breakfast combining tradtional French with continental /north Europen additions.
noisy road the first 2 nigths, quieter the third night on a re-visit on our return the following week

value for money excellent
I paid 10 euros to get out of the reserved car park Had i been given the special pass on my first night i would not have needed to pay this money unfortunately my french is poor and i did not understand that i needed to ask for a pass card perhaps this information could be provided in a leaflet in a few languages and given to residents

Hôtel des Alpes, Annecy - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel is centrally placed and as such car parking is limited,however there is a drop off space allocated and the staff were able to guide us to the nearest secure car park,some 5 minutes walk away. The parking is also subsidised by the hotel making the parking rates very attractive. Hair dryers were not provided in the rooms,however I am sure if asked one would have been made available. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh with the staff being extremely attentive to the needs of my two year old,providing warm milk on request. All in all a lovely little hotel in a great location" (3304734685)
a well run hotel,with extremely friendly and capable staff. The lacation of the hotel was ideally placed for all our requirements
There are quite a few stairs to climb,which with young children could become difficult but on the whole ths staff helped out whenever they could.

A good-sized room and en suite, recently renovated nicely. Friendly staff.
Lifts! It was not a problem for us - I enjoyed the exercise! - but carrying heavy bags up to our third floor room was quite tiring, and could be a problem for some.

The staff were patient and very helpful, and spoke good English. We like the simple rooms, nicely decorated without extravagant elements. Pleasant, basic, comfortable.
Instructions for how to arrive at the hotel by car were inadequate, and Annecy is a nightmare to drive in.

The rooms were very noisy, I could hear people in the room above me walking around all the time. In the room next to us were 6 young girls => they were making a lot of noise so I asked them to keep their voices down a bit.
