Best Western Lafayette, Clermont-Ferrand - Reviews & Ratings"Overall, decent hotel for the price. Centrally located, within walking distance of the central district, which has many cafe's and bars. Rooms are a bit cramped, but are clean and fine for a short stay. There is no pool so the hotel is more suited to sight seeing. Secure Parking is provided and there is free parking around the side streets. The Hotel is located across from the main train station and easily located from the Autoroute (although we had a Sat Nav system in the car). Clermont-Ferrand has a nice centre with winding alley ways and streets with plenty of cafe's and bars. Check out the main square, good place for food and drink and you can sit out on the wide pavement and watch the world go by." (3304826913)
The Hotel was Central. The room was clean. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Room was a bit small.

Comfortable rooms, decent restaurant, helpful and friendly front desk person, and parking in locked area.
The breakfast was a little expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at.

Bathroom was slightly awkward - shower was difficult to position.

Best Western Lafayette, Clermont-Ferrand - Reviews & Ratings"We were under the impression that the hotel was in the immediate centre of the town which wasn't the case. Our daughter found the walk into the town a very long way which meant that we had to drive to an out of town restaurant in the evening, having walked into the town during the afternoon. It would not have been possible for her to walk again and the roads in town were complicated!" (3305254247)

Best Western Lafayette, Clermont-Ferrand - Reviews & Ratings"Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We booked 2 twin rooms which varied in size and layout. Rooms looked as though they had recently been up-dated however, en-suites looked quite dated by comparison. Location of the hotel was very good - across the road from the train station and around a 10-15 minute walk into Place Jaude. Hotel had a good selection of information leaflets/maps/events to choose from. Very good to see that whole floors rather than just rooms) were devoted to non-smokers. It would be good to see photos of the hotel in daylight as well as night-time as it looks quite different!" (2355237)
Very functional, clean and tidy. I liked the fact whole floors were devoted to non-smokers. Parking was secure with a gate which closed off overnight. very good value for money
