nerarby the underground station easy to book good informations about trips in / around London quick check in / check out
Room for breakfast is to small so you have to wait sometimes for a place to sit. I would prefere an other breakfast, not only the typical english breeakfast. The room was very, very small for three person, we had only two towels for us three in the beginning.

European Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel was enough for the amount paid, but I won't go back because they denied to issue an invoice." (108494224)
Clean, no noisy, good location near train + metro station.
Small rooms (I had to change my booked single room by a double room, that was also small); no internet access in the same hotel; the managers did not want to issue an invoice for my payment.

European Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"Maybe this is as good as one can expect in London for that price?" (108499941)
Good location - quiet and close to Kings Cross Quiet hotel generally Easy check-in and out Reception staff good Generally very clean
Very poor breakfast experience - staff were unfriendly and we needed to ask to things such as toast and condiments. Although they were cheerful with each other, they were not at all friendly with guests. The quality of food was poor, the coffee was dreadful. I was also very suprised by the absence of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Poor drainage from the shower.

Beds and breakfast were good.
Kind of a rat hole with mold smell in the triple room in the basement. Peeling wallpaper. eople in next room were crazy, scary and loud Saturday night.

Clean, newly remodeled (but tiny) room; just three minutes from King's Cross and ten minutes from Euston; all-you-care-to-eat breakfast
only a few of the TV channels worked, no view from window

Quiet
- room is too small for a double room...one can hardly move in the room without bumping into something!! - the bed was a super single bed (3.5 ft wide) which is too small for two people to sleep in comfortably..should be a double bed (5 ft wide) for a double room!!

European Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"Convenient for station; room very small. Staff helpful." (107584508)
The member of staff in charge of breakfasts kindly gave us something to eat before we left to catch our train.
bed against the wall and no room to move around room! There was an object fixed to the wall (where the bed was) with very sharp edges which could have been very dangerous; I put a towel over it!

European Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"generally i really enjoyed my stay and would recommend friends and colleagues to stay here, as the staff were so kind and helpful" (108227194)
good points are the staff and management on reception, very friendly and kind. Room was comfortable and warm, when i requested for more coffee etc..this was given immediately with a warm welcome
my room was very samll, but i did stay in a single room. My main issue is centred around breakfast time. It advertises full breakfast which consisted of cereal: cornflakes and milk. Tea & coffee are available. When a staff member asked if wanted toast, at my response of 'yes' i was given two white toast. I was not asked if wanted brown or white bread. Thereafter, i went for buffet food of which was plentiful but tasted awful. I have eaten in many places and do not want to infringe on the staff of this establishment but it would be in the best interests to review breakfast content and how food is presented

One minute walk from Kings Cross and St Pancras Station Late check in Hot cooked breakfast TV and tea/coffee in room Park across the road, which has an open air gym
Room was tiny Sheets and blankets were not clean Had to wait if you wanted a breakfast table as very busy

European Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"The location made it worthwhile. The basketball net and playground in Argyle Square was right outside the hotel front door so our kids had an outlet when the got bored. There were some reasonably priced restaurants with great food nearby, such as Balfour's which serves Italian and the Norfolk Arms which offers a contemporary menu with a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern twist. Both restaurants served fairly large portions and the staff at both places were helpful and friendly." (108862339)
Price and location, good selection of TV channels.
Bathroom was tiny and shoddy. Shower nozzle leaked and therefore affected water pressure, paint was peeling from bathroom ceiling and we ended up with chipped paint scattered over our room. The bathroom sink drained very slowly. Most of the staff at breakfast were grumpy (though one woman was quite capable of smiling), as was the evening front desk attendant.

European Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"We stayed for two nights. A third night I wouldn't have been able to stand." (107400624)
TV was in working order, warm water in the showers.
Mould-infested bathroom, constant all-night hum from below (presumably kitchen ventilation?). The room was so cramped that it proved a challenge just to open the suitcase. At breakfast staff was unwelcoming and unfriendly.

Good location, clean bedding, comfortable enough bed. Tea & Coffee making facilities.
Other guests smoking in bedrooms with their windows open - smoke was coming in my room. Smell of smoke in corridors every night too. Against the law in the UK, but that doesn't stop some clientèle.

The room was very well cleaned each day. Shower worked well. Breakfast was reasonably good, but tea was a bit watery! Breakfast staff were helpful and let me in one morning when I was late, and cooked two eggs for me specially. Most impressed with that!
Very small room. Nowhere to put shaving tackle etc. Bathroom floor slippery when wet - needed a bathmat. No telephone in room. 'Teas-made' kettle was dirty inside, but I boiled the water well! Would have preferred real milk to creamer.

The room was neat and tidy. The breakfast was nice. The staff at the check-in was really helpful.
Not serious actually. My room was in the 3rd floor which I had to carry a hand luggage all the way up. But it happens everywhere.

Our group was really pleased with the Hotel - The Reception is 24hr which we thought was good and the hotel is located in a good location, 5 min walk to Kings Cross Station. The rooms were decent sizes and breakfast was lovley.
Our Kettle and Shower were not in the best condition but adequate. There was an issue in our room with the bathroom step - one guest stumped her toe on the edge, but staff were very helpful afterwards!

we were at first offered a smelly damp basement room, with a disgusting old and grubby bathroom WHICH WAS NOT THE ROOM I HAD BOOKED IN THE ANNEX they eventually moved us into another hotel for one night(tiny quad) and then we moved into our quad room in the european which was quite nice and adequate.I am annoyed they gave our room away.and THEN tried to charge 110 pounds for the first night intead of agreed 95

"Adequate." (108112689)
London is expensive, so 70 pounds was not bad given the location.
The room was tired and the walls thin.
