  "Overall, excellent. Nice hotel" (107385616)

  Clean, tidy and presentable hotel.

  On checking in, the only information they had correct was my surname. This was due to incorrect info being passed to the hotel by Active Hotels. Plus there was someone smoking in a room on our corridor - yuk !

  "The male receptionist upon check-in gave an excellent portrayal of what we would have expected from the hotel at the rate paid. After that most things went downhill. We had booked a family room for 3 adults (mum & dad & teenage girl) plus 8 year old daughter. As we neared the room the carpet got dirtier and dirtier, as did the rest of the "decor". Room was tiny, smelled fusty, furniture was badly stained (sofa-bed looked as if it had actually been under water).Around 10.00 p.m. both daughters were asking me what the "noise" was. The "noise" was at least two beds, on either side and above us, receiving a pounding, need I say more? How dreadfully embarrassing. Morning light was a blessing so we could get away from there - and I have a so-called "Preferred Guest" status at this chain. An absolute rip off." (107516567)

  Quality of dinner excellent. Getting in the car to leave.

  Unkempt. Sad and aged decor. Tiny room. Fusty smell. Arrogance of some staff. Well overpriced. Shabby. No sound insulation.

  good but not brilliant

  Location, cleanliness.

  Arrived at the hotel at 11.30, knowing check-in was from 2pm onwards, we were then told that we couldn't check-in until approximately 3pm, willingly I accepted this. I came back at 3.15, and was advised the room was STILL not ready, and was directed to do the bar, with no complimentary gestures for the delay.

  "Mix up over whether breakfast was included with room, (take your e-mail e-mail confirmation to show that breakfast are indeed included. Bar prices very expensive, mini bar exhorbatant prices." (99336095)

  "It's a well=located hotel, easy to locate and parking is easy. It's comfortable and clean, and feels new." (97107960)

  It was updated and new. TV had satellite, and there was a workout room.

  Breakfast was included with my rate, but when I checked in the desk clerk said it wasn't. They only corrected their error 3 days into the stay, after I'd already missed and paid for 3 breakfasts.

  "This was the most expensive hotel I've stayed in this year and the worse by some way - wallpaper peeling off the walls, mouldy ceiling in the shower, etc. Dreadful" (99039257)

  "Overall I was happy with my stay but I would have been less happy had I not received a discounted rate via the internet." (99400540)

  Romm was clean, and reasonably spacious.

  Bar and surrounding areas - furniture is old and dirty. Had to wait 10 mins before being seated for breakfast.

  "un plan d'accès plus détaillé (avec mise en garde) nous aurait aidé." (97907700)

  tranquilité,calme malgré la bonne fréquentation de l'hotel,confort.

  acces,..... apparemment facile...... mais attention aux rond-points (2 semblable en venant guildford).... avec la difficulté de la conduite à gauche, il n'est pas évident de ne pas prendre la direction de l'a3 au lieu d'entrer dans le 2 eme rond-point.
