good location and nice room
very upset at the lack of parking, I got a parking ticket for £150 as there was no parking available, since this was a Monday night in early March I would never stay there in the busier season

Brooklands Hotel, Bournemouth - Reviews & Ratings"Nice place to visit, would visit bournemouth again" (107652718)
Very nice lounge area with tv and coffee making facilities. The breakfast selection each morning was excellent
The room was a little on the small side, but the bathroom wasn't too small as is often the case with en-suites

Brooklands Hotel, Bournemouth - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel proprietor was friendly and helpful on my arrival and I was pleased with the on-suite room that was available. I made use of the voucher in the hotel room for the Leisure club not to far from the Conference Centre. I swim daily at home so this was a bonus while I was away. The breakfast was excellent and hotel staff efficient." (97300802)
I had chosen Brooklands hotel online as it was close to the Conference Centre, it was reasonably priced and suited my needs with parking space for my car.

Brooklands Hotel, Bournemouth - Reviews & Ratings"Big issues about the cleaningness of the bathroom and broken shower head!!! Very small bathroom and tiny shower. Thin walls that you could hear everything. Overpriced breakfast!!! The room was hot, but then at night, even with the full heating, it became really cold. The only good thing is the location, but there is plenty other hotel arround. I would not recomend to stay there." (97713289)
The only good thing about this accomodation was location, as it it located very close to the sea.
The shower head was broken, bathroom wasn't clean, as well as the bedroom, very thin walls and creepy flor, you could hear everything there. Overpriced breakfast, 6.5£ per person for 1 small sausage, litte beans, egg and small beacon, it's really a lot!!! We expected much more. Some frut was bad, like there would no one checking them for ages. Bedroom was tiny, it was acctually difficult to move there, but we spednd most of our time outside, so it didn't matter that much.

Breakfast was reasonable, very little fruit though. Good parking and handy having use of the marriot pool.
The overall appearance.. very dated. Room was extremely basic. Staff were a bit dis-organised

The staff at the hotel were great and while the room was basic, it was adequate. This hotel is a bit outdated and I feel you are paying more for the position than the quality." (3305208204)

Brooklands Hotel, Bournemouth - Reviews & Ratings"I feel that we were well informed as to the location and the facilities that this hotel had to offer. Although no mention was made when we booked in about the leisure facilities that we were supposed to be available to us at the nearby Leisure Centre. Fortunately the weather was good and we did not want to take this offer, but still feel that we could have been reminded about this." (3304940318)

I recommend that if you ever have a problem then you let the staff know as they will do what ever they can to rectify the problem. I would recommend this warm friendly place to anyone." (3305067924)
The hotel and rooms were extremely clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The shower in our room wasn't working properly but I reported this to the hotel staff and they were extremely helpful and accomodating. The problem was resolved and this shows the excellent customer service provided by the staff.

Brooklands Hotel, Bournemouth - Reviews & Ratings"I enjoyed my stay here - the staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is a big plus with the beach, shops and restaurants only a short walk away. The hotel is, however, located on the top of a hill so expect a steep climb when you return from the beach. My room was small but clean and nicely furnished. It had a decent TV with teletext. A couple of minor faults were found in the bathroom - a broken shaving mirror light and a crack in the shower's sliding door. I didn't have a problem with noise but there is the potential. The walls are pretty thin so if you are unlucky to have rowdy guests next door, your stay could be ruined. Also, just outside the window is a garden with table and chairs. Nobody used it while I was there but it wouldn't have been nice if they had. The hotel offers free access to the leisure facilities of the Marriot Hotel. I didn't have time to try it out, so I can't comment on how good an advantage this is." (3305020592)

Location to the town centre and beach. Friendly staff, room was clean.
Bar Lounge was closed by 9pm so couldn't get a drink upon our return from dinner. Noisy, abusive guest disturbed us at 2am in the morning by continously banging on our door, the matter was not resolved quickly enough and we didn't feel that there was adequate staffing to deal with the situation.

Brooklands Hotel, Bournemouth - Reviews & Ratings"Welcoming, freindly and helpfull staff. My room was upgraded free of charge!! As a business person I found the free wireless internet access a bonus, my faxes and photo copies were reasonably priced. I took advantage of a free pass for the leisure centre offered by the hotel, it was nice to relax after a hectic day. Breakfast was filling and it was no problem to have it earlier than the stated time. Good off road parking. I can see why this is a busy B&B I most certainly will be using it again in the near future. Excellent value for money." (2751499)
