Tower House Hotel, Bournemouth - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel is in a very nice and quiet area, on the topof the West Cliffs. Our room had a wonderful sea view, marred only by a rather delapidated building between us and the cliff tops. Being a family hotel it is used by shall we say a quieter clientelle which suited us very well. The staff were charming and helpful as well as being friendly. The only drawback was that being a lady of full proportions I found the shower to be extremely small, but I managed not to get stuck!!" (97235990)
It was comfortable and very quiet. The service was good and unobtrusive.
The headboard squeaked!

Very convenient for the town centre and the beaches.We only saw one or two members of staff but they were friendly, informative and helpful.The room was a little old fashioned in decor which gave a warm and homley feel to it.The bathroom was quite small but had everything you need. Tower House Hotel, Bournemouth - Reviews & Ratings"The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. I was allowed to keep my car in the car park for most of the day following my check-out. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel was very convenient for the International Conference Centre - it was only 10 minutes walk away." (99949611)

Tower House Hotel, Bournemouth - Reviews & Ratings"I had booked at /very/ short notice (late on the day of my arrival, through the internet). On arrival at the hotel, my room was unprepared. When I rang down to inform the reception desk, I was immediately upgraded to a very large double room, which was excellent, and the staff were most kind and helpful. Dealing with an unexpected problem in this way is the mark of the true professional. During my whole weekend, the staff were cheerful and attentive and extremely polite and pleasant. nice decor dining area, breakfast very nice , bedroom decor ok for style of hotel not out dated but not overly modern for younger couples. parking good and close to bournemouth's attractions.
bed was hard but we were used to superkingsize with memory foam topper so not hotels fault just had interupted nights sleep, bathroom smelt obviously no window but air freshner would have been nice, and ceiling fan very noisey when on again some are probably not hotel fault but maybe look into resolving any fault with them

We can't rate the staff highly enough, from check in to check out they were friendly, attentive and courteous the entire stay. A small problem with the card for entering the room was dealt with immediately. In particular, the young lady who served us at breakfast was incredibly cheerful and polite and nothing was too much trouble for her. All in all, a very good experience and we'd have no hesitation in using this hotel again." (99350656)
The room was a very good size with all the facilities we needed, tv, tea/coffee making equipment, nice bathroom and working shower. Although a little dated and in need of a bit of tlc, the room was very clean and comfortable.

There was enough parking, within easy reach to the beach, shops, resturants. The town was only a 10 min walk. The room was very spacious and light, the en-suite was very modern, clean and also spacious. The hotel was in an excellent location within easy walking distance to the beach,shops,resturants etc
The only fault we could find is that the decor and furniture was a bit dated.

The staff are helpful and friendly, however the hotel is frequented by more mature customers. Breakfast does not start until 8:15, which is too late for most business clients and the evening meal can only be taken between 6:30 and 7:30. The front door was locked on arrival and it took some time to attract anybody's attention to let me in. For the money I paid to book the room, the hotel is vastly over priced." (3305169988)

Booked basic double room but had a really large room with a 4 poster bed and 3 piece suite for same price.
TV in room was poor quality due to aerial problems. Not that we went away to watch TV but its nice to put on when returning early evening and to watch the Cup Final!

Maid service was prompt and thorough. The staff were so friendly. We asked for more tea and coffee for our room and were given handfuls, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We stopped over in the bar for a pot of tea and were told this was on the house. You wouldn't get that in a Marriot! Service at breakfast was also very good, the food cooked to perfection, obviously done on request and not sat on a self serve bar waiting for those who can't get up in the morning. The place honestly looks as if its still in the 70-80s although its clean and tidy. The helpful nature of the staff
It is an older hotel and some things need attention. The 4 poster didn't have a roof therefore to me it wasn't really a 4 poster. The light rose had come off and only 1 wall light worked. Very little info in the room abt the hotel or the local area.

Large Room. The wardrobe which you had to push up straight in order to shut the doors, very quaint, but adequate for our needs.
The wastepipe for the sink in our room could do with the occasional drop of bleach to remove the unpleasant drainage smell. Had we been staying for more than a weekend, we would probably have requested something done. The same was true of the shower cubicle door which was difficult to operate.
