nicely decorated, adequate bathroom, very polite and helpful personel
room too small, noisy, walls and ceiling very thin, no privacy if blinds were open because of the garden outside the window. English breakfast not good, bacon almost raw!

Bar staff were very friendly and the overall ambience of the hotel was lovely. The room was cosy and contemporary - just what we were looking for. Excellent location for town and with parking too.
Breakfast staff on the sunday morning were less friendly and not very helpful. Walls to the rooms weren't at all sound proof.

I thought the hotel location was great and when we arrived it was lovely to look at. although the rooms were a little small they were clean and tidy and decorated very well. The staff were polite and very helpful and the atmosphere was nice. The price was extremley resonable and it is nice to see a decent hotel not trying to rip people off price wise! We would most definitely stay here again.
The maids talking loudly in the mornings !!

It had a bath which was nice.The room was a fair size. It was near to the town.Parking was good.
The king size bed was actually 2 single beds pushed together, very uncomfotable. No room service for food.Quite noisy from triffic in room at front of hotel. Maid unlocked door and walked in after we had shouted we were in, bad taste as we had locked the door on the inside. didn't feel at ease after that.

The hotel has been recently refurbished. Deco is testeful and modern. Perfect location. We stayed in a nice, big room (lovely bed) with a reasonable size bathroom. Management organised some chocolates and a card for me and my husband as it was our anniversary. Very good value for money. One of nicest hotels in Bornemouth in this price range.
Carpet in a bathroom. It seems unhygenic. It seems that a lot of money was spent on changing deco, but there were some other things that need attention like: old heating system, gaps in windows, carpet badly fitted, bathroom rail hanging down.

The room was very nice. In general the hotel's decoration in the room and in the other rooms was very good. Breakfast was nice too.
The accomodation was nice. However, I think that the rate was a bit expensive.

We used the car park at the rear of the building this was because the front car park was full. Better signage is required as we were not sure when entering if the was correct. Staff were helpfull and friendly. The bar was not manned so we went out for a drink." (99697393)
Comfortable bed and room. The carpet in the bathroom got wet after using the shower, otherwise good.
The main venetian blind was broken and it was difficult to block out the lights from the car park at the front. Thicker lined curtains would have been much better.

the sumptuous duvets and pillows in the room. every small detail had been thought about in the room and throughout the hotel. it was of a very high standard, but very resonably priced. breakfast was superb and all of the staff where friendly and courteous.
it did not serve meals in the evening.

the room itself was slightly different to what we expect it was fairly small but on the whole it was a really modern hotel and decor was very nice.
bathroom was not cleaned properly and the bedding had marks on it but a member of staff dealt with it straight away and we recieved a compimentary bottle of wine which was kind

The decoration was tasteful and room was cleaned to a high standard.
There was no central heating and room was cold on our arrival. The type of heater in the room made it difficult to keep the room at a comfortable temperature.

Fresh and clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a slight disappointment, sandwiches would have been available, at other times in the day, but no main meals, but there are very good restaurants just around the corner. It was fresh clean and the decor was tasteful in the reception and bedrom. The inner courtyard was a very pleasant place to sit and relax with a drink
The decor in the dining room was overdone. No main meals available although the large dining room was left unused. Little things let them down, like no side plate at breakfast or separate knife for the butter, no saucer so when you stir your tea nowhere to put the dirty spoon, the juice dispenser was nice but you couldn't get your glass under it to pour the juice effectively.

Friendly,comfortable hotel with plenty of character. Close to amenities. Good value for money which I think important.
bed was comfortable but think to big for room. Only small bedside table on one side of bed. Got woken up about 6am with either bin men or lorries outside. Also noise of cars on gravel road.

Bulb replaced but heater still hanging off when we left. Saturday morning breakfast was pre-cooked and heated up but it still barely warm. OK on Sunday morning as it appeared to be freshly cooked.
