Hotel Domus Praetoria, Rome - Reviews & Ratings

"Despite being in a less attractive part of the city, I felt reasonable safe, certainly in the daytime and early evening. The location of the hotel is wonderful for getting anyplace in Rome reasonable quickly. The friendliness, availability and helpfulness of the staff was a particular asset of the hotel." (48347120)

The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room and hotel itself very clean and resonably sized and attractive for a short stay.

There was no common area and no comfortable chair in the room, so the hotel would not be so good for a longer stay.

"The hotel was near the main train station so it was easy to get to most of the main sights of rome. The service was very good and the staff pleasant and polite. I would have liked a bath in the room and it would have been nice to sit down at breakfast rather than go to the shop across the road and stand up with our pastries and coffee. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay." (99800190)

Hotel Domus Praetoria, Rome - Reviews & Ratings

"My daughter and I spent 6 nights in Rome in January 2007. The Hotel is located in a quiet street close to the main railway/ Metro station. There is a market in the street each day but we were never aware of any noise when in the hotel. One thing I would mention is the hotel is not well signposted so note the number(42) You buzz to get in and there is always someone on the desk. The rooms were immaculate and spacious there is use of a safe and overall security is excellent. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. The area is not particularly pretty to look at but we always felt completely safe there even returning late at night and it is very conveniently placed. Breakfast is taken in a cafe accross the street and consists of a brioche and coffee both of which are delicious. In all I would heartily recomend Domus Pretoria and would definitely stay there again." (99718616)

It was clean very comfortable and well located. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
