"Great comfortable family Hotel with none of the bells and whistles that make staying in the Hyat's so expensive. Close to Manchester and within easy reach of the Airport, buses and railroad close by." (107576794)

Exellent hotel for those who want a clean comfortable room but can not afford 5 star rates. I have stayed here several times and will always come back.

    The hotel staff were helpful

I loved looking at the wiring not sunk into the wall and going through the picture rail and the pipework on show everywhere, I think these should be good points not bad

    "easy to find" (107697580)

My room was changed for the better at the suggestion of the receptionist

My vehicle was damaged overnight in the car park.Hotel external signage had been vandalised sometime ago and had n't been tendered too which gives a shabby impression of the hotel.

Cheap hotel but you get what you pay for!!

Security was low. Room was in need of redecoration. The bathroom was in a bad state. Lighting in room/hotel was poor. Breakfast was oily and not appetising.

The whole establishment is quite run down and 'tired' needing refurbishment.

"Left at 7am, couldnt stay another moment. Really dirty." (107325761)

The hotel was absolutly disgusting and filthy. It needs a full refurbishment and clean. Every thing was dirty, I was very reluctant to stay in the bed and couldnt wait to leave. Did not even go for the breakfast as if it was anything like the hotel it would of made me ill.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a lovely big hotel, with basic amenities. There is an amazing Cantonese restaurant opposite the hotel!

It was close to trafford centre and was reasonably cheap

When we arrived we thought it was shut down! Poor standard of rooms. Doors looked very old and my partner who is in the building trade thought they were lined with asbestos!Breakfast was minimal. One egg on one slice of toast.

"Just about tolerable, for one night. We now understand why we were 'invited' to pay our bill on arrival! " (107603674)

Good location for access to Manchester and surrounding area. The Dining Room was clean and bright and the full English breakfast was good. Clean bedding. Plenty of car parking space available.

Very much 'run-down', tired and in need of a thorough clean and 'spruce-up' Our room came with free Chinese meal.........rice and noodles splattered on wall by previous guest and the shade of the main ceiling light contained various items probably thrown by bored guest. (Shower shampoo sachet, coffee sachet and other small items that I didn't remove.) The shower cubicle sealing had considerable black mould. The walls between adjacent rooms are extremely thin and inadequately sound proofed The shower cubicle in the room of our companions was in a worst state, had a toilet door that was without a guide at the bottom and dark brown water flowed from the basin tap when first turned on.
