The B&B was in a great location although crossing the junction at the end of the road could be hazardous. The room was lovely and great value for money.
The bath was only luke warm. One of the other guests was lacking in manners at breakfast- but this is not a reflection of the B&B.

Room comfortable, clean and quiet
Continental breakfast of poor quality. Yoghourt, bread, croissant all the cheapest available. Not very palatable.

Very clean, friendly and helpfull hostess, quiet area, easy to find
Room was really too small to be a double as the bed had to be next to the wall, which made it difficult for the person on that side to get in and out of bed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent.
The only fault we found was that there was no upright shower. There was a hand held one, which was not quite as good.

Good facilities. Room was good and the parking very easy. The atmosphere was friendly and attendive without being intrusive.Lovely spot and nice to have access to a well laid out garden.
I can't honestly say that there were any bad points. Could have done with a little more lighting in the room but this is clearly an older property so rooms tend to be a little on the dark side.

The hotel was easy to find, very welcoming with a cup of tea upon arrival and my room was cosy with a lovely country feel and beautiful views.

Cozy, nice settings
Bathtub but no hot water to fill it, small shower, couldnt really get clean during my 2 days. Small room, not enough room for me to put up mmy suitcase but on the bed.

internet connection very unreliable... on for 60 secs... 15 mins to reconnect, repeatedly payment by card has to be done out of sight of guest.... most recent advice re card security is not to let it out of your sight?However, not at all worried as to integrity of hotelier.

Most guests are regulars (says a lot) and despite being close to major roads was fantastically quite. Would be tricky for non drivers as no meal on site but a good pub was only a few mins drive away.Will stay again if in the area" (97318996)

Detling Coach House, Maidstone - Reviews & Ratings"Great little B+B, not too far from maidstone but if you have no car then could be difficult to get around. Its along a small road which suffers from fog on the late nights (early march). It has a great comfortable atmosphere which feels more like a small hotel than a B+B but still with the homeliness we wanted. The lady who runs the b+b was extremely welcoming and offered any advice we wanted. We were house hunting so she pointed out some areas to look at and great hotels. Anything we could have wanted I am sure she would have done her best to help us find! 10/10" (99495311)
Extremely clean and comfortable, peaceful surroundings, pleasant atmosphere.
Not always enough hot water. I like to bath, unable to do this, however, I am sure if I had requested this would have been sorted out.

No hot water the first night because the hot water system was not explained to us initially.

I'm sure that if I had asked I would have been been lent one, but I managed without quite happily. It's proximity to Detling Showground was an absolute bonus as that is where our event was being held. It is a charming place to stay and we would definately recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area." (99498580)

Very clean and comfortable bed
Minute sink in bathroom and having to keep hot tap running to keep up with leak from sink bung causing hot water to run cold. Difficult to find in the dark. Only two coat hangers in wardrobe
