Hotel Giotto, Rome - Reviews & Ratings"Everything was easy to do. Again, the staff in the evening was courteous and the morning staff was also helpfull. They were able to find a picture frame I left behind and will retrieve it in a few weeks when I return to Rome." (97087401)
The staff was courteous. Also I had left a picture frame with a picture and the staff was able to find it. They are holding it for me untill I return to Rome in a few weeks.
The quarter were small but it the cost for it was not a lot either.

"Dependant on what staff member you spoke to they could be either very friendly or very rude. The breakfast which is cold was fine - I wouldn't expect more for the price of the room. The room itself was dependant on where they put you in the hotel. The hotel is after the last metro stop on the A line and then about a fifteen minute walk. It took less than 30 minutes to get the metro back from downtown. Whilst the hotel doesn't have internet - just round the corner less than five minutes walk there is an internet cafe which charges 1 Euro an hour - they also sell local bus tickets." (97213561)
Dependant on what staff member you spoke to they could be very helpful.
The room I stayed in for the first two nights of a 3 night stay was awful. Very small, the in room safe did not work, the shower went from very hot to cold intermittently whatever the setting. My initial room was very noisy, right next to the lift. It was also an inside room. You can see from the hotel picture that the hotel is circular, there are rooms that have an outside view and rooms like mine that had only a small window, high up on the wall that overlooked a fire escape. The room for my last night was much better, with an external window and much less noisy.
