Great location, very friendly reception staff.

The breakfasts were really good but the waiting staff were not particularly friendly - a smile goes a long way!

"One of the few hotels we stayed at during our 2 weeks in Ireland that had good Broadband access in the room and it was free. Perfectly decent place to say." (3304405299)

Close to Eyre Square and all the action.

Construction right across from our room that started at 8am. Parking is a pain - Difficult to find when pulling into town and then a haul with luggage to the actual hotel entrance.

"Excellent. Everything was well thought out from the free wireless (as a frequent business traveller this should be a no-brainer) to the availability of breakfast until 12 midday in the bar (a very civilised afterthought). The price, at " (3304795632)

The facilities were better than I had expected from a 3 star hotel in Ireland. usually they are grubby, down-at-heel and tired. Forsters court was excellent in terms of cleanliness, quality of furnishing, in particular the bathroom, which again exceeded expectations. One of the major bonuses was the availability of wi-fi in the lobby and bar and of free broadband in the rooms. An absolute must in a modern hotel. Well done.

    hardly anything

"I liked the Forster Court a lot. Unlike a lot of other hotels I have stayed in recently, it didn't feel poky or skimped. The room was particularly nice, being of a good size and well equipped (as well as being spotlessly clean). I had good interactions with the staff. The location is excellent. When I am next in Galway on business which involves staying close to the city centre, I will stay in the Forster Court Hotel." (3304589604)

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious. The bed was big and comfortable. The shower worked well. The hotel was quiet.

    The room was somewhat overheated.

"The hotel was well placed in the centre of town. We were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful staff member, at reception. The reception staff were very helpful on all occasions with any enquiries we had about trips etc. Our room was of a good size and all facilities worked well. Breakfast was excellent, and for those who like a lie- in, breakfast was available until a whopping midday, and the staff in the restaurant & bar were very courteous and helpful. The only downside was the noise of the tour bus in the morning and no view, but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again, it was excellent value for money; but maybe in a room away from the tour bus, if that could be accomodated!!" (3304419439)

Good sized rooms. Clean bathroom facilities. Room serviced daily.

Poor view. noisy in morning as tour bus with microphone parked directly below our window.

"I stayed at the Forster Court hotel for 5 nights in February 2006 with my husband and our 11 year old daughter. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Any question we had were answered promptly any concern taken care of immediately. Breakfast was great and any request we had was no problem. There was enough selection that even our daughter who is a picky eater found herself satisfied. This was one of the best little hotels (in this price range) I have stayed in. I would most definitely return." (3304103113)

Great location, central but a little ways up the street from the noise of the weekend party folk.

"Stayed here for one night. Got a smoking room assigned, but the room didn't smell so no need for changing. Great location and spacious room, would stay here again." (2739514)

Location very near the central train station and city centre, good convenience store just opposite the hotel. Spacious room and bathroom.

At check-in the reception didn't ask if I wanted a no-smoking room. Cooked english breakfast too small in comparison with most Bed & Breakfasts. Small bottles with shampoo difficult to open.
