"From the outside the hotel looked rather drab and run down, however, once inside it was fine. The rooms were fairly characterless, however, adequate for our purposes (apart from the heating not working properly). We stayed at two other hotels (both small, independent hotels) where they managed to serve up hot coffee, freshly squeezed juice, fresh cakes and bread etc, and for E25 less than we paid at this hotel. I thought generally it was very poor value for money." (97443745)
The location was excellent, within walking distance of the cable car (closed for maintenance although a bus replaced this) and there was parking on the road.
Our room was freezing cold, the heating system didn't work efficiently or quickly enough. There was a kettle with cups and saucers in the room but no tea or coffee! Breakfast was poor, a coffee machine that dished out cool coffee, and juice from a machine also. Parking was an extortionate E20 per day, but luckily because it was February and there were very few tourists we could park on the street outside.
