Chapel House, Atherstone - Reviews & Ratings"Adequate, not awful but an unusual stay" (97288283)
Chef Patron served breakfast wearing dirty whites and not over sociable, restaurant was rather rowdy we opted to dine elsewhere. Room decor was rather dated. Cutlery and tableware could have been in better condition. No one was about to receive the keys when we left.

Beautiful, peaceful location. Excellent food.
Parking could be a struggle at busy times. Bathroom was VERY small but had everything you needed including a lovely shower.

Chapel House, Atherstone - Reviews & Ratings"As stated in previous boxes." (3304123552)
Clean, comfortable room. Staff made every effort to provide good service. A letter in the room detailed the work being undertaken to improve the hotel as it has not been long under the current owners - it is refreshing to see recognition of where improvements can be made, informing clients of this and making deadlines to meet them. Breakfast was excellent.
As already recognised by the hotel the old showers really do need replacing.

Chapel House, Atherstone - Reviews & Ratings"I cannot addd to much as we had such a lovely time. We did the wine and dine break and this was most informative and wetted our appetites to learn more. I think this should be well acknowledged on the web site and pushed a bit more as it was a fantastic experience." (2339362)
The friendliness of the staff and their courtesy.
Not a lot but an extra towel would be great - though they did have the large bath sheets that were great! A brilliant shower and very quiet and relaxed atmosphere all round.

Chapel House, Atherstone - Reviews & Ratings"As I arrived late evening, I did not get to use the bar/lounge area or sample the dinner menu, which looked very good. I prefer to stay in small country hotels and this one was very pleasant in a small market town location." (1887528)
Location - pleasant spot just off Market Square, quiet with attractive garden. Good personal service at breakfast with good food
Shower in room was not the best. Electric shower limited flow and curtain not proper enclosure. Some mildew in shower.
