Beautiful room. Very helpfull check-in and use of changing rooms as our room was not ready.
Housekeeping came in the room twice before we checked out. Very annoying when check out is 12pm and we were trying to lie in!

Great hotel. Very family orientated, which is nice. I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet break, playing golf (very close to Wentworth and Sunningdale) or attending business in the area.
Apart from the guy snoring next door, which the hotel can do nothing about.

Excellent sized room - we were given a room with lounge area that was perfect to let children sleep in. Comfortable beds. Staff very helpful and catered for our every need.
Food and drink very expensive. No information about local attractions left in room.

The location was great. The hotel ambience and grounds were excellent. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful (particularly our waiter Orrin). The room was fantastic - if you get the chance book it I strongly suggest that you do - it is called the Polo Suite aka room 328 or 329. Food was very tasty too.
No real complaints apart from lift access - which would only really be an issue for older guests not having a room on the ground floor.

Comfortable, clean and well equiped room. Excellent breakfast. Enjoyed the use of Spa/pool.
Rattling/ill-fitting windows (windy night). Very loud music noise from function room until gone midnight. We stayed in Room #277.

Clean, functional and the gardens were very pleasant. The historical aspect of the hotel was also of interest - perhaps more could be made of this.
No airconditioning on a hot night - and concern with the security aspect of leaving windows open at night.

However we did find the drinks rather expensive and it seemed that not many people were having drinks. If they were not so expensive we do feel that more drinks would be sold. Ramada Ascot, Royal Berkshire, Virginia Water - Reviews & Ratings"The only problem was the food. we would certainly stay at the hotel again if we found a good deal, but would definitely not eat in, unless the chef changes ! The meal was very small.This would have been fine if it was tasty but it was bland and lifeless: The lamb tasted like liver Vegetables had to be purchased as an extra. The salmon tasted like the cheapest supermarket salmon.. soggy with no flavour. The crayfish mash was equally bland." (99408361)
Almost everything: all staff were friendly, helpful and polite, room was excellent, setting fabulous. General ambience great.
The evening meal was extremely poor(but expensive)No comparison to when we last ate there . I guess they must have changed the catering arrangements? Breakfast was just ok butnot as good as it was .. I notice it has changed to self service

good size room
Room walls far too thin could hear conversation of person next door so i assume he heard our baby crying too. Not great may not be same in older part of hotel?

Our standard room was of a good size and the bathroom even had a heated patch on the mirror (ever tried shaving after a shower when there isn't?). The staff were all friendly and helpful. Passing any member of staff in the corridor we got a smile and a greeting." (99019178)

The room was comfortable with spotless bathroom. The food was delicious, hot and well presented. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and attentive. The only slight fault we could find was the leisure centre. There was nowhere to put our clothes and the pool was not very clean but overall we had a very good time and will definately come again when hopefully it won't rain and we can explore the wonderful grounds. As in many hotels the machines for keeping hot breakfast self service food hot unfortunately do not do the job. So Hotel breakfast food is always just tepid/warm
