"Friendly and attentive staff, modern room with good furnishings." (107604864)

Cleanliness of room, bathroom and public areas very good.

Room access on the ground floor room was circuitous, up one flight of stairs, along a narrow corridor and then down a second set of stairs. Air-conditioning not available in room with outside temeperature 31c and quite humid.

"My reservations about the hotel are too many winding corridors and you get lost easily. Breakfast was nothing to write home about for the price charged" (107772624)

My upgrade to a better room was good. I Quite like the superior room I was upgraded to. Bed was excellenltly comfortable.

My initial booking for a double room was not good. Was in the basement had a damp smell. Room was very stale smelling. Breakfast was of no quality for price charged. Will not eat breakfast in future.

"We are concerned about getting value for our money, and this hotel was certainly an excellent choice in that regard, without needing to sacrifice anything we like to have when we travel. " (107592654)

The room was attractive and comfortable in every way, and was a welcome refuge after a busy day of seeing the sights in London.

We were very impressed by the service we recieved. The hotel could not honour our booking for a twin room because of maintainance problems, but offered us two singles and complimentary breakfast instead; we were more than happy. Would definately use this hotel again.

    Good location

A bit noisy at night and the bathroom was too small, instead of a bath there should be a shower cubicle and in the space gained a decent washbasin could be fitted.

"I do not think this hotel was worth the money it charges- the rooms are tiny and the decor is old. I suggest using a moder modern chain hotel. " (97948611)

The location was good- although the main entrance is not clearly marked a bit difficult to find. Staff were also nice.

My single room was TINY! The room was literally a cupboard above the stairs. There was the smallest single bed i have ever seen with very little floorspace. The decor was very dated and did not feel clean.

Easy access to tube stations and local bus services for the areas I needed to cover. Dining room staff appeared slightly abrupt when dealing with clients otherwise the staff were very friendly" (97788540)

ill fitting windows, which due to poor weather conditons caused them to make a lot of noise due to banging. Bathroom very cold

"The hotel is well-located near Bayswater tube station and Hyde Park. The area is lively and there are many restaurants and pubs within 90 seconds walk. The hotel seemed very well run. My overall impression was very favourable, although the room was somewhat noisy at night as it was single glazed. The room price was very acceptable. I would certainly stay at this hotel again in the future." (99865540)

Staff were excellent, place appeared well-run, which is a rare thing in London.

Single glazing so room was somewhat noisy.

"I would recommend this hotel as being of a high standard of cleanliness, good value for money with pleasant and obliging staff." (99644688)

Loved location of hotel in quiet suburb near tube, main street and park. Bayswater has a villeagy feel to it. Haad an enjoyable meal in restaurant after a tiring journey, served promptly although I was the only one in there. Excellent customer service from the desk staff. Trouble with kettle but this was fixed very promptly. Bed comfy, room warm but airy. Excellent continental breakfast and morning paper appreciated.

Bathroom small, but there again I am 5'10. Trouble with noisy neighbours but not enough to keep me awake.

"The hotel is in a perfect emplacement, a few meters from bayswater subway station in Queensway, with supermarkets, many restaurants, pubs ciber-cafes, shops etc.. really close to it. A really clean hotel. All reception, rooms, bar, lounge, corridors were clean and tidy. The room size was correct not too big but enough, clean bathroom with shower and really warm in mid february. Complete breakfast from 7 to 10 am. No complaints but the tiny size of the elevator, thats all" (3304160375)

Everything was good. Near to the tube station and shopping belt. Rooms was in excellent condition. Decoration in the room and the lobby was fantastic and cosy.

Maybe they can include other kinds of food other than english or continental breakfast, eg, like some soups or international breakfast.

Asked two different staff if they could get me one of each both said yes, after 10 mins I ended up with a hot glass ( to be used for juice ) and never saw a cup yet. Plug in bathroom sink ( auto plunger type ) not working. Room had a lot of torn wall paper, damaged paint work and a large crack right across the celing. "Overall we were really pleased with the stay. It is a clean, nice hotel with good standard. The breakfast was a bit thin, though, but sufficient. We were a bit surprised when we wanted to have a last beer in the lobbybar at 01.05 am, and was denyed. So dont go for the we'll take the last beer at the hotel - that does'nt work here. Other than that we were happy with the stay." (2154032)

Nice, but small rooms. Large persons have trouble fitting in the shower.

Dont try getting the lobbybar to serve you a beer after 1 am. Doesnt work.
