West Cromwell Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"Budget price hotel with non-budget service. The hotel, situated near to transport routes and all local amenities, was clean and welcoming. The single bedroom, though small, was clean and the shower was unusally spacious. Couldn't ask for more, especially for the price." (108269856)
* Hotel was walking distance to the train station and local shops / supermarkets / restaurants without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle * Rooms were clean, comfortable and all basics were provided * Bathroom was clean and spacious * Staff were friendly and helpful
* Single room was very compact, fine for 1 night but not enough storage space if stopping longer * Weird banging noice from the floors, sounding like the radiatosr perhaps? disturbed my sleep * The TV hadn't been retuned so not all the channels worked and it was hard to get the remote control lined up with the sensor to change channel!

West Cromwell Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"the money thing, was insuspected "not good" " (108672103)
clean, silent at the backside, near subway, near supermarket, and restaurants
we were not aware of the checkin procedure that we had to pay at checkin at the hotel, and that paying whit VISAcard cost3% extra! another thing is the "amount of frosen money" the hotel is paying back afterwards?.

West Cromwell Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"I stayed at West Cromwell early January 2009. I found it clean, comfortable and good value for money. The room, a single, was small and there was some, but not excessive, traffic noise from Cromwell Rd. The location is close to tube and staff were helpful. I would stay there again. Considering what I paid I give it 8/10." (107505843)
Clean comfortable room, recently renovated.Good value for money.Good location.
Erratic breakfast service when occupancy was low. Bedside and bathroom mirror lights did not work but would probably have been fixed had I cared to ask.

The hotel alarm going off during the night and having to wait outside. Fortunately there was no serious incident however nobody from the hotel management even bothered to turn up, very disappointing.

West Cromwell Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"Very convenient, low cost accommodation near Earl's Court" (108076981)
Generally clean; room small but comfortable; low cost; very convenient for Earl's Court exhibition.
On check-in they seemed to have no trace of my reservation; drinking glass in bathroom was not clean; bathroom extractor fan noisy; no soap provided; breakfast was barely adequate (only 2 types of cereal - cornflakes and coco-pops, plus 2 pieces of white toast).

West Cromwell Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was small but clean and the bathroom was on the large side with updated facilities. The location was central and very close to the tube, restaurants and shopping. It was also a block away from TESCO, a large supermarket which was very handy to have so close to the hotel and open 24 hours. We were dýsappointed with the breakfast which it said was included in the cost of the room as it was only cereal and toast. We would like to see a better selection. The help was very friendly however. Overall, we were happy with the hotel and would use it again in the future." (97825011)
Comfortable and clean room. Large modern bathroom.
The breakfast was not adequate and the lobby had no sýtting area.

West Cromwell Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"The staff was pleasant and the room rate was reasonable. The hotel was a bit sparse in decor and there was no internet available. The neighborhood was nice enough and despite being on a busy road, the street noise was not noticeable. I wasn't overwhelmed by this hotel but I also wasn't terrible disappointed." (97017212)
There was a particularly nice bathroom in our room with a full-sized shower. The beds were very comfortable.
Our room was very tight with a closet that was nearly impossible to open because it was blocked by a bed and had no handle. The breakfast was only two plastic containers of cereal and toast.

It was newly refurbished to a modernish standard, with a flat screen t.v in our bedroom, which I wasn't expecting. The reception staff were very polite and helpful and the building was very secure.
The only thing that disappointed us a bit was that there was no full english cooked breakfast, or even more of a choice than 2 cereals.

West Cromwell Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"The single room was a bit like a wardrobe on its back. but at least there wasn't an extra charge for it, unlike most hotels. For its size, it was very well equipped, though I could have done with a shower cap. For a hotel just where I wanted to be, it was extremely reasonable." (97509909)
It was newly refurbished and therefore clean and bright. The double glazing kept the traffic noise out and it was outstanding value.
I wouldn't have been too happy in the event of a fire, and there was no plug in the washbasin.

West Cromwell Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"There was no soap in the room! One toilet roll was insufficient for our needs. (we do not consider that we should have to request such items) The mixer for the bath/shower was stuck in the shower position. Had any of us needed a bath we would have been stumped. There was no control for the television set! THE LIFT WAS FAR TOO SMALL! When we asked at reception for directions on how to get to THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL, we were given totally incorrect informatiion. As it turned out we did not miss the show but this could have been disastrous." (97428518)

West Cromwell Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings"Vey poor, I've had better breakfasts at a Hostel. The breakfast was basic hostel quality .. certainly not what you would call continental. Continental breakfast involves some fruit, yougurt, a choice of cereals, and a selection of muffins/crosssant .. this one was pathetic. In my opinion this Hotel should be reviewed by your organisation as to wether or not it should be included in your selection. I definately will not be staying there again, very poor value. I was going to send a formal complaint, but haven't yet had time to do this." (99864571)
The fact I had a place to sleep
The room was shoddy and there was mold all around the base of the shower

It was filthy, the bathroom had meldrew and it stunk of off water. The bed was extremely hard and the room had an old fridge in it that was very noisy all night!!the nets were so black that you could'nt see out of them and the curtains were hanging by a few hooks.

The room was on the ground floor but there was a lift for the other floors. Not too far from the tube station
Breakfast was very basic. Milk for cereal was room temp, not cold
