Ambassadors Bloomsbury, London - Reviews & Ratings"The stay was great, I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to a friend nor to stay there again." (107397451)
The room was in excellent condition, the staff friendly and helpful.
There was some confusion with the booking as it was able to be found under my partner's name, which I had the forethought to include in the booking, but not my own.

Ambassadors Bloomsbury, London - Reviews & Ratings"Great location. Everything works. Just too cramped - the room a real squeeze for two. The bathroom a squeeze for one." (108460579)
Excellent courteous helpful staff at front desk and house-keeping.
Entered the restaurant (4 adults) at 10:20pm for dessert and coffee. Response: "Sorry. Last orders taken only up to 10:15pm. Ouch !!" Never went back for the 3 days we were there. Bathrooms very very small.

Good location, Cleaniness of the room
The room was tiny. it was impossible to put anything in the closet because there was no place. that kind of room is suitable for only 1 night stay!

Check in was meant to be at 3pm but as we arrived in London at 8am and we wanted to check our luggage in the hotel allowed us to check into our room early as it was available. The hotel was lovely and the room was decent.
Superior Twin room was a large double bed and would of preferred to singles as was with my mum and had to share. The breakfast was poor and was not as described and items missed off that was printed on the menu.

Ambassadors Bloomsbury, London - Reviews & Ratings"Definitely would not have wanted to pay full price for a relatively small room with crampt bathroom. Would have enjoyed stay much better if room had been quiet and kept out light" (107455811)
Convenient location Nice bar/restaurant with efficient breakfast
Did not sleep well due to a)Traffic noise from street outside and b)Inadequate blinds not keeping out light Crampt wet room, water from shower encroached on toilet area

Ambassadors Bloomsbury, London - Reviews & Ratings"I would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay there again." (107687259)
Good area, handy for tube.Room airconditioning excellent.
Wardrobe much too small for anything other than overnight stay, not enough storage space overall. At the weekend the breakfast menu has reduced options, this was a little disapointing as we weren't told on booking.

Ambassadors Bloomsbury, London - Reviews & Ratings"Next time I'm in London, The Ambassador will be the one for me/us." (107821657)
Exceptionally well presented and maintained room/facilities. All mod cons and totally fit for purpose. Helpful and polite staff. Excellent experience
When arriving late in the evening, I didn't realise you had to use your door card to enable power within the room. Was fumbling until it dawned on me. Could I have been told in reception? I arrived late in the evening (11:45), the bar looked shut as it was hidden behind the frosted glass - therefore I didn't have a couple of 'night-caps'. However, I could of asked couldn't I?

The bathroom was very small and only had a shower... I would have expected a better bathroom in a 4* hotel...

Ambassadors Bloomsbury, London - Reviews & Ratings"Good location and all was good except the temperature of the room." (107543367)
The hotel staff were very helpful and the hotel was clean. There are plenty of good restaurants near and it was great to hop onto the eurostar.
The room was so hot despite turning the temperature down we couldn't sleep and had to open the window which was very noisy.I took two rooms and it was the same in each room.

Ambassadors Bloomsbury, London - Reviews & Ratings"Newly refurbished to an excellent standard. Staff very attentive and provide excellent service. Excellent buffet breakfast over the weekend although can get very busy at peak times, necessitating some waiting around. Dinner was excellent - both food and service." (97505195)
Modern clean furnishings, friendly staff, excellent service
Small wardrobe! Fine for a weekend break but awkward for those staying longer.

Room (and entire hotel) very well-fitted-out, room facilities all new and working and very clean, excellent shower, comfortable bed.
Heating either too cold or too hot (best left off, that was fine).

Ambassadors Bloomsbury, London - Reviews & Ratings"this hotel has very nice rooms, eveything is new and modern. To be noticed that it is a 100% non-smoking hotel. I'll remember my breakfast for a long time, as the fruits juice and scrambled eggs as far as smoked salmon were delicious. only frustration : the area where the hotel is located is very calm. Not so easy to walk quickly to a more living part of London" (99047799)
definitely the quality of the breakfast !
a stupid thing but no capability to plug any electric equipment in the bathroom like a shaver !

Location. Close to Eurostar terminal. Hotel offered ice water(free of charge) on arrival.
Size of room. Too expensive for room only. Travel Lodge or Premier Inn both offer better facilities at more affordable prices.
