Pavillon Saint-Louis Bastille, Paris - Reviews & Ratings"Very disappointed. First of all our room had no air con and a very small window indeed - in 30c heat it was too hot. We were offered a room with a bigger window (no air con) on the ground floor. However, our rest was disturbed by noisy guests (inc small children crying, noisy passageway, music playing at reception, clattering of crockery as breakfast was set out at 5am, etc etc) Bathroom only had a hand held shower, and the hot water only worked in the morning (not afternoon) Altogether very disappointing indeed." Pavillon Saint-Louis Bastille, Paris - Reviews & Ratings"This is a good budget hotel. The rooms were small but clean, I don't travel to spend time in the hotel room so this was fine. The english breakfast was well presented and nice. The staff was great and the location was convenient for the metro and train." (3305173123)
It was conveniently located to metro and train. The staff was very helpful, their english was very good.
It would be nice if the hairdryer could be used in front of a mirror, the only receptacles were on the walls near the floor and not convenient to a mirror.

It was a well situated hotel, clean and very resonably priced. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would stay there again.
The bath could have been a bit bigger but that is a minor complaint.

Pavillon Saint-Louis Bastille, Paris - Reviews & Ratings"Our room was very small and extremely dark. The bed wasn't a double, but two singles pushed together. I know this is the practice at quite a lot of hotels, but the beds hadn't even been made up as one. They were also extremely uncomfortable with springs sticking out all over. It was very difficult to sleep at night as the hotel is next door to a very noisy bar which played loud music until 2am. Our room was also next to the lift which was also noisy." (3304557036)

Pavillon Saint-Louis Bastille, Paris - Reviews & Ratings"The staff there were excellent. It was my birthday and they helped my friends organise lots of surprises for me, they were very helpful. It was very reasonably priced for the location. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Bastille, Gard to Lyon station and a metro stop. The hotel was very clean, and breakfast was good. The lady in the kitchen was only too happy to bring us anything that had run out, (we were usually the last down for breakfast)The room was a little small, but my friends had good size rooms so I'm sure you could request a bigger room. This wasn't a problem because we were out and about a lot. They were spotless when we arrived and serviced everyday. I had no complaints." (2712663)

The hotel was central, the nearest metro was minutes away. It was great value for money.
Parts of the room decor could do with some up-dating. The bed wasn't terribly comfortable.

The room was very spacious and clean and good value for money (we booked last minute at a 50% discount). Good access to the Gare du Lyon rail station. Would recommend.
