Clean room and helpful staff
The first floor was a building site, some advanced warning would have been nice. Also no air con and tiny shower area

Hotel Bee Fang, Hamburg - Reviews & Ratings"We were very dissatisfied. The experience was different from what we had been led to expect from the reviews from hotelroom.com. Fortunately, the other hotel we had booked earlier through hotelroom.com lived up to the reviews." (99312390)
The beds, linens were adequate.
The TV didn't work. The toilet seat was broken and could not be used. We had to pay in advance and were given no receipt. A cat from the hotel was put outside and was howling all night. The front door was locked and couldn't be opened from the inside, creating a major safety issue in the event of emergencies (we would assume that this was illegal).

The price was right.
The hot water in the shower was scalding.......forwarning to future guests: use caution.

Etat vétuste chambre et mobilier. Peu de place dans la chambre Etat précaire douche et lavabo défectueux, écoulements en mauvais état Pas de téléphone en chambre

Near Hbf and thus very convenient when carrying heavy luggage
Staff kept asking for payment everytime I went to reception even after midnight. Surely it is policy to pay on checkout. Even then I left my luggage in the bag room for later colection and upon doing so was again asked for money - which eventually the receptionist agreed I'd paid.
