  "LOVELY HOTEL, WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN AND RECOMMEND, BUT WOULD'NT HAVE A MEAL THERE." (107940398)

  QUIET, PEACEFUL SETTING, GOOD VIEWS OUT OF BEDROOM WINDOW (OPEN FIELDS),NICE WARM ROOM, POWERFUL SHOWER

  FOOD OVER PRICED AND POOR, ASKED FOR A WELL DONE STEAK, ARRIVED BURNT, BLACK AND ROCK HARD ON THE BOTTOM, THIS COST £17.95 AND WAS IN THE BAR AREA NOT THE RESTAURANT, STAFF APOLOGISED BUT SEEMED UNCONCERNED.

  "Overpriced for such a basic hotel" (108071357)

  The food was good but too few staff in the evening.

  Basic room with little attempt to make it cosy. Tiny flickering TV set.

  "I thought it was a bit expensive for what we had but overall we had a pleasant experience and the staff were very good. Room was not ready when we arrived but we were a bit early but they were changing the mattress so could not get into the room for about an hour. I would recommend this hotel because it is quite a good base to travel from to explore the area" (97007284)

  It was very convenient for the wedding we needed to attend

  Slight smell about our room - musty, although it was very clean

  Room very clean, nice bath room excellent shower

  we got a smoking room which smelt of smoke when I asked for a non smoking one

  "That the double room meant the bed was only small....my husband is over 6 foot tall and so bed too small. In many instances a double still means a large bed but not in this case. This meant that neither of us slept very well and so I was tired when attending my business meeting the next day." (97428806)

  "I liked this hotel, particuarly the location. The food at dinner was outstanding and of totaly unexpected high quality. Great breakfast too. Very pleasant, friendly staff." (99913611)

  Lovely,quiet, country setting whilst being quite close to town.

  Very small TV of which the aerial connection was broken. Poorly positioned, crick in neck to view from bed.
