There was no good points
Hotel is noisy, unable to sleep , the room was dusty , staff were rude and had poor communitcations skills , they even tried to add a surchage when it came to payment for use of a credit card.!!

TV had poor reception Room safe did not work and staff could not offer anyone to rectify this. Stains on carpet. Room very warm but the ceiling fan was completely useless at cooling: a decorative item only, with no apparent function.

The breakfast was good.
1. The receptionist's attitude was very poor, impolite and not helpful. 2. The state of the room was a disaster (only one towel for two people, very cold room, cold shower, the radiator was very noisy during the night and stopped us from sleeping)

the double decker bed was new but squeeked when you turned over Two mornings in a row they had no orange juice and on one of these mornings no jam

Excellent location for my daughter on the Wandsworth Road, friendly staff, clean, tidy and good value.
Can be noisy if room is at front, however there is a space for special requests on the booking form which was respected. We had a room at the back which was very quiet.

I found the hotel was up to good international standard.
When going home. We booked a taxi through the hotel reception desk. To take us to Victoria train station. We were charged 12 pounds for the journey, which is approximately 1.7 miles. I thought this was a ripoff. True no fault of the hotel. Compared to what we paid to get the hotel. We got a black cab from Victoria Station to the hotel, it only cost us 6 pounds 40 pence.

Staff were good, the bathroom in the room was good,and room was clean.
The hotel was undergoing an upgrade so reception was a bit of a mess & could be a better quality camp bed in the triple room.

Room had everything that was needed. In spite of the refurbishment programme of the entrance area everything in the hotel worked well, and staff coculd not have been more helpful. The breakfast was just what was needed, simple, and no distasteful luxury.

The room was neat and tidy. Bed linen was clean and comfy. Nice bathroom. Plenty of plug sockets. Handy little desk. Located very close to Vauxhall train and tube station, makes traveling into West End as easy as it ever is.
The restaurant was being rebuilt so the lobby and breakfast room were a bit of a building site. They had made a reasonable job of making it a neat and tidy building site and good effort of keeping noise down but still detracts overall. Only continental breakfast available which was a big disappointment, although previous experience of cooked breakfast in other Comfort Inns suggested that I really wasn't missing anything worth eating. No restaurant facility so far as I could tell. Took payment upon checkin, which just isn't the way any hotel I have ever been to does it... makes you feel you can't charge anything to your room, although they didn't seem to have anything to charge to the room anyway. No bar!!!!!!!! Room too hot as it was very warm weather, and traffic noise was way too high to tolerate open windows. Really need air conditioning in rooms when on such a busy road.

It was clean and comfortable
1 out of the 2 rooms that were booked overlooked the main road which caused a sleepless night for one of my colleagues. The traffic noise made it impossible for him to sleep which led to him being exhausted during the event.

Modern.Neat, clean,comfortable and compact accommodation. Efficient heating and ability to open windows to access fresh air. Coffee/tea making facility is a real plus. Car parking available
Very noisy radiator. Rushing noise all night even with radiator in off position. Very irritating. Shower curtain needed replacing as grubby.

Convenient with good access to central London. Good self-service breakfast with plenty to eat that will set you up for the day. Clean and comfortable room.
Road noise was noticeable at times during the night.

No shower curtain 1 towel in a room set up for 3 double bed was 2 singles pushed together, which i fell down the middle during the night as they rolled apart. TV remote refused to work unless you pressed it v.hard 6-7 times

Being some of the last to breakfast meant that you were lucky to get what other guests had enjoyed, there were not enough supplies to cater to ALL the guests requirements. The staff were very quick to clear up, making it obvious that your time was up and they wanted to leave." (97515737)
The room was clean, comfortable and tidy with everything that was required for an overnight stay.
Some of the soft furnishings could have been better, a curtain was falling off the rail and the duvet cover didn't fit the duvet properly. Hand towels would have been appreciated and more pillows, too - 3 is an odd number to have in a double room!

Comfort Inn London Vauxhall, London - Reviews & Ratings"This hotel is cheap and well situated for Vauxhall and the Tate Britain. It is found in the small Portuguese area on South Lambeth Road and there are several authentic Portuguese restaurants nearby. It was clean, and the room facilities were adequate but the overall effect was cheap looking. There is quite a lot of noise from the road, though this diminishes during the night. the Continental Breakfast was quite minimal and the so-called orange juice from the dispenser was ghastly. The hotel tries to be environmental with lights in the corridors coming on by sensor as you walk through - which has the effect of making the place look a bit dark. The hotel seems to have 2 names(Comfort Hotel is one and something like Hotel 54 is the other) - what's that about?" (97535316)
