"The friendly staff at Residenza Always gave us good restaurant recommendations and advice about which areas were best for what. Hotel has a very intimate feel, more akin to a geusthouse. The area is perfect, right in the heart of the city, a short, walking distance journey to most of the major features of Rome. Comped breakfast from the cafe downstairs, and internet access via a mac in the room. If you are looking for a typical four star Hotel with lounge bar, pool and such, you will not find it here. However, for an intimate, relaxed, and charming hotel I can not recommend Residenza highly enough, I thouroughly enjoyed my stay here. Local restaurant tips: Ceserenna, a short walk from the hotel (ask the staff for directions) though uninviting from the outside, the best fresh pasta I had during my stay in a very colloqiual restaurant, and for a trendier menu try Trattoria near the Pantheon, which has a very comtemporary Sicilian menu, and do not be afraid to ask for the English menu, the staff will make assumptions of you there. (Als, avoid Doneys on the same street (Via Veneto) as this hotel, food is average and overpriced.)" (99512498)
