found the hotel very handy to the O2 arena but a long way out from other amenities.
bathroom/toilet very cramped and not good having a basin in the bedroom as the space was tight. the TV was not a very good reception.

The hotel was conveniently situated opposite the DLR. The food was good and reasonably priced, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Only one complaint; the mattress on the bed of room 508 was very lumpy and uncomfortable.

Staff's response to request for additional pillow on that day not pleasing and had an uncomfortable night with one pillow, when i am used to more pillows. The way the staff dealt with my parking charges and the final bill was not pleasing. No information on whether there is an air conditioner or not, if there how to use it.

Staff were pleasent and very helpful. We asked for extra pillows and they were supplied as requested.
There was no easy chair whichs meant it wasn't easy to relax unless we used the bed. Car parking wasn't available when we arrived because a wedding party took all of the parking. We have no problems with the wedding but it meant that our car was left out in the street in an area with broken glass from windscreens of other cars was on the ground. It was late, after coming from a show we attended before we were able to park in the hotel parking facilities. Also the parking fee was excessive for a resident. Many hotels do not charge for parking for those staying in the hotel.

Location is great in an area which is obviously developing. Great value for money so close to central London. Food and drink priced very reasonably and of good quality. Brilliant transport links.
Rooms a little stuffy and short on fresh air but so are a lot of hotels. Decor and furnishings look a little tired. Shower facilities only, which is fine for me but not everybody and they are a little snug if you are a larger person

Hotel was clean and tidy
We were not told of any deposit on arrival and had to pay £20 because we were paying cash when we was checking out we was just given our money back with no goodbye or even a thank you for staying with us we will not be staying there again.

A short walk from the Excel Conference Centre. Clean and orderly with all usual facilities.
The TV signal went down intermittently. The twin room was quite small.

Not the Hilton, but also not the Hiltons prices, small comfortable room, nice and clean, excellent staff and restaurant. great if you're visiting nearby places, it's a warm, friendly place to lay your head, no facilities ( spa, pool,gym etc), but the price shows this. I'd reccommend it to anyone for cheap business travel.
The location is a bit ghetto, but that's outside.

Fairly convenient for 02 arena, the purpose of our stay.
Work being undertaken on DLR that necessitated bus then train travel, then taxi back to hotel after 02 event.

Happy and helpful staff, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Well positined for Excel and DLR station.
Noisey rooms (walls quite thin) and noise from other residents in halls at night. Some noise from airplanes and station although not too bad.

Very convenient for the ExCel exhibition centre and a reasonably good standard of accommodation for London, plsu better priced than nearby rivals.
Insufficient car parking. Lifts are slow. Very functional.

Very clean hotel. We went to see a show at the O2 arena and the hotel is a five minute journey away on the DLR and Jubilee line. My friend's car got broken into as we didn't use the hotel parking. Definetly pay the £10 private parking at the hotel and do not use the back road that everyone seems to do because they do not want to pay the charge. It is not safe. We went back to the hotel as we didn't know where else to go and the hotel staff were very friendly and gave us a hoover and other things, so that we could tape up the damage.
My friend and I had a superior air conditioned twin room and the only bad thing about it was that the bathroom was very very small. it was a very tight squeeze for one person let alone two! We thought we would hate to see the bathroom in the normal twin room. The bathroom was very clean though and therefore bearable. We got the room for £49.95 in the online sale...so we can't complain. When checked out of the hotel and went down the road for breakfast, as we were told that the hotel cafe was closed on a Sunday (that was a little annoying). Check-out is at 11am. Would have preferred if it was at 12, even though we checked out at 11.30. They didn't complain.

The staff were excellent. Very helpful and very pleasant. The hotel was very clean and easy to find your way around it. Breakfast was very good. The position of the hotel virtually next door to the Excel Arena is an extra bonus.
The only poor point was the room itself. It was very small and the shower and toilet extremely small (purpose built pod). Being on the large side, I found it difficult to use.
