both food and bedrooms very good, i have stayed here about 5 years ago and the hotel was good then but has improved a great deal.
hard to pick any bad points the only down side for me was the dining area could be a little bit brighter.

food was good
entertainment not as good as it used to be. Hotel paintwork etc. looking grubby. Bar staff regularily short change customers,not only me but witnessed it happen to many customers,we have been here before and it happened then as well,got to point where I was memorising last digits of note.My wife is in a wheelchair and we were given a room close to lift as requested but there were steps leading down to the room !Hotel full so we were led to believe there were no more rooms.

we were eventually given a good room of the standard we would expect. evening meal was excellent and service first class.
car parking was hugely undersupplied and you had to park a bit like a can of sardines the building from the outside really does need a lick of paint

Booking online was good
There was not enough parking and for the price I paid for the room I would of expected better all round quality of the room, hotel and staff. We do not like to be treated as if we do not belong

The room was nice, and the view was great. The staff were always pleasant and polite. The facilities available in the room were also excellent.
Small step up into the bathroom for no apparent reason - annoying tripping hazard. Also the instructions on the wall for how to use the shower etc did not actually match the shower they were meant for. Parking was... dubious... but I was impressed I was allowed to use the manager's spaces as the park was full

Friendly staff, free parking and good position of the hotel
Bathroom far too small it appeared to have been 'shoe horned' into the space. The evening meal varied from good to poor. The hotel is in dire need of an upgrade as it was very tatty in places.

Much better than expected for 2 star. Big enough hotel for good facilities, restaurant, pool, bar. Helpful staff. Clean and comfy
Dinner finishing at 8 meant had to arrange things for afterwards as too early for bed. Also service was very prompt, which is great but not when food is served 15 seconds after ordering. Felt as though was not at its freshest, but was still tasty.

Over all very good value, the only thing to winge at was the room was a little small, but not enough to complain about.
Parking is tight, i just didnt like leaving my car in the over-spill car park over the road at the back.

The staff were very friendly and helpfull and nothing was to much trouble.The food was excellent and the entertainment good. the rooms were very clean,the staff very helpfull and the food in the restaurant,from breakfast to evening meal was excellent
The bathroom was very small,the toilet was sqeezed in between the bath and the wall, a large person would have really struggled. perhaps a shower cubicle instead of a bath would have been a better idea. Also the mattress was a bit lumpy.

Parking may have been an issue should we have arrived later in the day, however, it is quite a large seafront Hotel and therefore parking spaces are bound to be at a premium! On the plus side, and there are a few Im pleased to say:- clean well kept Hotel. All staff helpful and courteous. Dinner, Bed and Breakfast option is excellent value for money. Excellently run Restaurant whilst catering for a large number of guests service in the Restaurant was exemplary! On site entertainment was of a very high standard during our stay shame about the weather! Would stay again." (97027468)
Clean, modern and well-furnished room with comfortable bed and ample storage/wardrobe space. Very clean and modern en-suite facilities.
No major grumbles whatsoever!

Claremont Hotel, Blackpool - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel was clean but basic. I asked for a seaview which we got but this was spoilt by the fact that the room was so small we hardly had enough space to walk around. Having paid extra for this I would have expected a much better standard of room. The reception staff where not very helpful but the restaurant staff were extremely polite and attentive and the food was excellent. The whole weekend was then completely ruined by our car being towed away and having to pay £275 to get it back - the problem being that we parked around the back of the hotel as we had been told that we could by the reception staff and unknown to us we had actually parked on the adjoining property. I was extremely disappointed with the attitude of the reception staff and total lack of interest when we reported this matter. I certainly will not return to this hotel again." (97480028)

excellent food and really clean -staff were so helpful and smartly dressed aswell couldnt of asked for more
the windows were dripping in condensation when the heating was on an the frames had seen better days - also the sauna could do with a tidy up for the main season
