We have stayed at the hotel before and chose it this time because of the location and positive experience. We were not disappointed. The reception staff was especially helpful
The fan in the room had loose backing on the plug. My wife got a shock when trying to unplug it.... The lights over the table had faulty wiring and were flickering on and off. We told the manager but it could not be repaired because a part was needed and it was Sunday. We simply left the light off and left on Monday, our scheduled departure date.

Location -- very convenient. Very attractive building. Very pleasant dining room, and the breakfast buffet was good value for money. The room itself was of a good size, and well equipped. The staff was helpful and friendly. Free wi-fi.
Parking (the main reason we chose this hotel!): the on-site parking lot is TINY. There is an alternative a good 10-minute walk away. (NOT "four minutes" ...) My husband has mobility problems (US disabled parking tag) so this was quite a challenge. Beds were not very comfortable. (Ironic, given name of hotel ...) We couldn't get the free wi-fi to work! (To be absolutely fair, I'm sure we could have asked for help at the desk -- but we only wanted to check our emails, and it didn't seem worth the trouble. But it was a minor disappointment.)

Room fine, did not book breakfast as preferred to bring my own and not have to get dressed before I had it!
Very noisy early morning guests outside my room from 7.30 on. Seemed to gather and chat, laugh etc near me. Not fault of hotel but wish people could be more considerate.

Breakfast had obviously been under lights for some considerable time and was dried up. I requested for some freshly cooked fried eggs which caused some surprise I think but my request was actioned . The eggs came swimming in fat

Good reception and air conditioned
No air cond in room so had to have windows open then use fan which together with traffic noise made the experience less than satisfactory

The room was clean and provided with soap and shower which come in handy.
We was put in the basement with a view of a brick wall. It was very hot and sticky in the room and mini bar empty exept for a gone off salad.

Very friendly & helpful welcome from the receptionist who quickly sorted queries about car parking and breakfast arrangements. Room clean, tidy and fair size - advance request for quiet room met in full. Bar quiet and comfortable - and reasonably priced. Breakfast was fine - although more (fresh) fruit would be nice - staff were attentive and pleasant.

The downstairs had been renovated beautifully, breakfast was good. Good location.
The room was decorated in a way that did not match the image on the internet - incredibly old fashioned and dated - tired looking. Very disappointing. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable

Room was a little dated and tired. Had a smoking room would have preferred a non smoking. In this day and age all rooms should be non smoking.
