The room was well decorated with good modern amenities and a comfy, clean bed. There was also a fridge in the room which would be useful for long-term stays. Great position just off the Bayswater Road for our concert in Hyde Park.
The room was very small, the shower was tiny. I don't think you could expect anything more for the money though, in that area of London.

very clean, well maintained, excellent service, facilities and amenities were ideal.
room was quite small, but I understand this is about par for London hotels. Air conditioner was a bit noisy through the night (the main generator, not the one in the room). Shower space was very cramped.

Paddington Court Rooms, London - Reviews & Ratings"I'd expected to be staying across the road from the Paddington Shaftesbury hotel but I was given a room within the hotel so don't really know where I stayed! But my stay was excellent. Modern bathroom, working facilities including fridge and tea / coffee, free wired internet, dimmer lighting, air con, and large flat screen TV with multi channels. I didn't take breakfast at the hotel because of price but I already knew about that prior to booking. Definitely one of the best places I have stayed in London for the price I paid." (97003655)

Wonderful staff - very helpful with luggage and finding the room. Also recognise me as previous guest. Clean room, well presented.
Room was quite cold initially. Shower water was never hot, only luke warm. Coffee tasted awful (instant in room). Breakfast is over priced.

The position was ideal near Hyde park and the tube to wembley
The ceiling leaked all over the bed so we were moved to another room which was right next to the lift. Also the hot and cold taps were the wrong way around.

The only way I knew this was by reading previous reviews Lovely staff, lovely hotel - shame breakfast is overpriced - better to go to a cafe for a larger breakfast for better value" (97928290)

very nearly fell bottom over breast on the loose stair carpet and the lovely plasma tv was placed in a stupid place so you couldn't see it properly in bed.

Location is convenient. Breakfast was good. Facilities are brand new.
There was no reception in the building mentioned as address when booked. There should be a note on the door of the location of the reception.

Paddington Court Rooms, London - Reviews & Ratings"This hotel is an annexe of the Shatesbury Paddington. Could not find where to check fortunately a bell boy from the hotel came to my rescue. My room in he annexe was fair, but immediately the TV was not working. The following morning I had to attend a meeting early. There was no hot water and had to shower in cold water. I complained immediately at reception who promised to move me if I packed my bags. I did but in the evening on my return the person on reception claimed no knowledge. After some disagreement I was finally moved to a room in the main hotel. This room was much better and had hot water, but was even smaller than the original." (97540271)

nice street, excellent location. a lot of space
The shower drains need cleaning. Make sure you have a map of the Hotel. No elevator in my building (after some negotiation, I got a big room but on the 4th floor)

Rooms are a little small but great value and clean, with fridge and microwave.
TV hand set failed but did not affect us too much and bed side light did not work but this was sorted very quickly

The space for the shower was tiny, barely 1 metre square. I am quite samll and even then it was not so easy to get into the shower.

location close to paddington, friendly staff & good facilities.
The address is quite confusing. It says on the website 3 Devonshire road but the reception is actually on the other side of the road 27 Devonshire. The hotel doesn't have a lift so it's gonna be a problem if you have huge suitcases. Also the room is way too small for a double. We couldn't move at all.

The shower was probably a 700 x 700 which when you are 6'2 and 15st It is not the biggest of spaces.
