Appart'city Carcassonne is just a 20-minute downhill walk to the centre of the walled city. It features apartments and studios with kitchenettes and an outdoor swimming pool.

The accommodation at Appart'city Carcassonne is air-conditioned and serviced by a lift. It features an LCD TV, a work desk and a private bathroom. All rooms have access to the Wi-Fi internet connection.

Meals prepared in the kitchenette can be eaten in the dining area. Each one is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave and a coffee maker. Alternatively, the residence offers a buffet breakfast.

The residence can be easily accessed from the A61, which is just 8 minutes away. Carcassonne Train Station is a 5-minute drive away and free private parking is available on site.

  Reception staff were very helpful and on site parking in a secure compound.

  I would not stay here again, nothing really bad about it but the place is totally lacking in atmosphere and very poor value for money. We had a large studio. The bed was a squeaky sofa bed, there were no worktops in the kitchen, there are no balcony's and we could only receive about 3 TV channels. Parking and wi fi was 2 euros a night, not bad in itself but just added to the poor value for money when most other hotels provde it free. The place is a good 20 minute walk to the edge of the city centre and another 20 minutes walk to the old walled city.

  Parking was easy, and the hotel staff were really friendly.

  The kitchen was not fully stocked with utensils - for instance, no sharp knives to cut vegetables, and we chose this apartment because we would be able to cook there. Also, the sofa bed was uncomfortable.

  Mande the reservation at 8:30 pm. Couldn't get in parking lot. No one was at hotel. Tried calling number, no one answered. Had to call booking.com to reach the hotel to get our password to unlock box to get our keys. Big problem. Info about the hotel office being closed after 7:00 must be clear before booking is made.

  Staff were helpful. Room spacious and clean. Plenty of easy car parking (2 euros per night). Bed settee meant we did have comfortable seating, which is usually lacking in a hotel room. Kitchen well equipped with 2 ring hob, microwave and fridge, except for lack of a kettle, although there was a coffee maker. Small dishwasher, but we had no dishwasher detergent with us. There was some washing up liquid however. We would have liked some tea/coffee on arrival but we had to go to the supermarket to buy some first. Breakfast fine.

  Large apartment with comfortable beds. Excellent pool though limited seating around it. Good base to see the city though do need car. Great air conditioning

  No kettle...only coffee maker. Not enough towels provided despite knowing 4 persons staying. Didnt take the time to ask for more so they may have rectified the problem

  Clean modern apartment block with spacious rooms and adequate facilities for a short stay. Secure car parking and easy to find on the outskirts of the city

  The hotel claim to be "20 mins walk from the old city" is an utter bare faced falsehood to encourage bookings. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the new city. We walked down the steep hill to the centre of the new town and it took 20 minutes. The old city is an equal distance across the river and up the valley side. With small children this would be an hour or more!! Why do good hotels undermine their reputation with deliberate misinformation like this ?

  We found Appart'City made a good base from which to explore the old city. The room was fairly spacious and very quiet at night. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful providing useful information on local supermarket - a great one about 800m away - and access to the fortress. There are also several reasonable priced restaurants in the vicinity. I would be happy to stay here again. Great value for money.

  The shower door didn't keep the water from dripping on the floor. Ended up with a huge puddle.

  The facility was new and clean and more up to western standards.

  The hotel was a bit far out of town- isolated- no restaurants in the area. Breakfast was too expensive so we passed.

  Staff very friendly and pragmatic, apart hote is rather functional

  Beds are unfortunately pull-out-couches on which I had a hard time to sleep, the place has little "charm"....

  The rooms are large and the air-conditioning works well. There is a pool. Staff were helpful.

  Door locks are very tricky. Mind you don't leave the door unlocked when you leave. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Have to drive to get anywhere.

  Nice place, free parking, dog allowed for only 1€. Kitchenette was equipped very well, clean bathroom. Good internet connection for 2€.
