  "Very enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend it." (108699719)

  Very friendly, and the room, though small, was very well supplied with equipment. Fresh milk for tea & coffee a real bonus. Pleasant outlook over gardens.

  Nothing bad, though the decor was rather "fussy". All a matter of taste I suppose.

  Mrs Dawn Bailey made me extremely welcome and I had an enjoyable two days. We shared a common interest in Ely Cathedral.

  Pleasant people. Fresh milk on tea tray.

  Bed absolutely awful. Lumpy and uneven - should have been replaced ages ago. Had they asked (as most hosts do) if we'd had a comfortable night, we'd have told them. Never mind; it was only one night.

  "Not a bad old couple and I don't mean to be a moning old so and so but my wife and I travel about a bit with our business and stay in everything from the marriott hotels to b&b all over the country. This was expensive for what you got and I don't rate it as 5 star." (108585979)

  Can't think of any to be honest, apart from adequate parking, as I had a large hired van with me. The couple who run it to be honest were nice enough and tried to be helpfull but , maybe we're fussy, but we've stayed in a lot bigger and better guest houses.

  Room very small with old fashioned sink in the corner. (not in toilet as you would expect) Shower ridiculously small. Breakfast a shared table. I much prefer my own separate table. Can't imagine why this place had a five star rating. Breakfast was ok although I prefer to have a menu rather than having to spell out what you want in front of everybody.Rather embarrasing but the fruit was nice.

  "Nice people, good food and comfortable rooms, but the location was not good - middle of nowhere and not 15 mins from Newmarket as we were led to believe." (108071191)

  Breakfast was great, clean and comfortable

  We stayed here because it was supposedly close to Newmarket - it isn't!! Also, the walls were very thin so we were disturbed by other guests.

  Good location, quiet at night, food good and hostess excellent.Excellent for visit to Ely and Cambridge

  Thought I had paid for stay as I had given credit card details to booking system and even worse that I had to pay cash-the owner was very understanding and helpful in this respect.

  "The facilities are excellent and the people are wonderful. this is a top notch B&B establishment with high standards." (108072853)

  Springfields was very comfortable, and the Baileys were warm and welcoming. This B&B is very convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The room and breakfast were excellent.

  No credit/ debit cards - it is cash only. Also you do have to travel to find an evening meal and a drink in the evening.

  "We enjoyed a very comfortable stay." (108028237)

  Made very welcome, delightful owners, well appointed room, very comfortable bed. Nice touches like a welcome creamed blackcurrent scones with strawberries. Delicious breakfast.

  We stayed in the double room where the bathroom was tiny, JUST enought room for a small shower and toilet leaving little room to dry oneself, as a result I cracked my elbows on the wall, the door and the shower cubicle; the sink was therefore in the bedroom. A bigger person would struggle.
