  "Fatastic. The locaiton may not be as convenient for a tourist, since it is a good ten minute walk from the city centre, yet the Hotel stay, comfort, amneties and warm response sure makes up for it! Looking forward to stay again at The Westliegh" (108238289)

  Westliegh is a fantastic combination of busy and secluded at the same time. While one may enjoy the convenience of a local pub where you can intermingle with like minded local blokes, your privacy is just a floor away. Though there is a pub downstiars that make it extremely easy for you to get down for a drink, the rooms above are quiet and peaceful and give me ample of privacy. The car park is a luxury!

  Convenient location. Room comfortable.Prompt responses from Manager to queries/requests.

  Having to check in at the bar and lug my suitcase up several flights of stairs. Bathroom refurbishment appeared slapdash and unfinished.

  "Overall, it is a good place to stay. moreover if you are going to attend University of Bradford for an event or sth. it is very near to it." (107966725)

  The hotel was very quiet. to some extend clean. and good for staying at night. relative to the money we paid in England's expensive places, we were satisfied.

  The room was very dark, the WiFi was not in a good strength in our room.

  Veryt friendly service. Room very well-kept and clean and quiet.

  Poor shower. Poor continental breakfast.

  Room was decorated very nicely

  Smelled strongly of cigarette smoke throughout the public areas and in the room itself. The description of the hotel does not say it is above a pub. The night I stayed was St Patrick's and so the Kareoke was very loud even in my room. No food available. The flooring and piping area behind the toilet let down the overall decorative order of the room and also the bathroom was not as clean as it could have been.

  Good, clean, functional.

  Fans in bathroons come on when light switched on an stay on for ages - very noisy at niht when adjoining rooms turnin them on and off.

  Room was clean, tidy and nicely fitted. The free internet was fast and easy to connect to.

  The room was very cold, after turning on the heater to full, the room did not warm up until the next day when I was leaving. Due to the age of the hotel the doors were slightly warped and hard to shut and so there was a lot of banging when people entered or left their room.

  "Paid £40.00 for my stay, at the bar, when I checked in. Did not remember to get a VAT reciept the following morning, could this be fowarded to me." (107986984)

  Standard of equipment, and cleanliness of the hotel were good.

  Smell of stale smoke in the room, might be inherent from previous times, as no ashtrays in the room.

  "It wasn't too bad but they just need to go an extra mile in terms of cleanliness and for a hotel they need to make sure that all rooms have adequate hot water for use by their guests." (107436645)

  The hotel looked exactly as I saw it on the website as well as the bedding. Staff were friendly and helpful.

  We had booked a family room but when we got there the room was not available so they gave us two rooms with double beds which was ok. The bathroom was dusty, toilet seat not cleaned properly on the outside - in the other room the toilet wasn't cleaned properly on the inside, the water system was poor in both rooms - after one person had taken a shower there was no more hot water for the next person.

  "Fantastic. will be staying again very soon" (107653484)

  The rooms were to a very high standard. I was actually stunned when I walked into the room as I really wasnt expecting such a nice space. The price of the room was brilliant. I had a family room with four adults and it worked out very cheap between us.

  The only minor point would be check in. I arrived at 6 and had to get my keys from a busy bar.

  "Cheap. Breakfast £5 extra. Convenient and friendly. Ample parking (I think I was the only guest in the hotel). No heating. Free internet access. " (107459772)

  Friendy. Convenient for Seminar/Course. Good simple breakfast - fry up. Good strong hot shower. Free wi-fi internet access was very welcome and a big PLUS point.

  Asked for full payment as soon as I walked into the door! No heating throughout the 3 days - I seemed to be the only one in the hotel for my stay there so they probably turned the heating off - radiators outside the room were also off. No one came into my room to stock up on hospitality tray or clean on the second day. Shower a bit mouldy around the edges but hot. Room recently refurbished - should have done the shower really. Only soap and shower cap provided in shower area - no shampoo. No remote for TV.
