  Staff were very helpfull and the check in staff made the weekend perfect.

  Chambre trop petite, trop simple et surchauffée sans climatisation.

  The hotel is a better standard to a lot of hotels you get out there. This was my second stay which was because of the first I came back. The special rate was a good plus point and more offers would bring me back a lot more.

  "All in all I would recommend a stay at the Caledonia, well placed, great staff, good rooms and a hearty breakfast." (107845339)

  A very grand hotel that is well placed to explore Edinburgh. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. An excellent breakfast set in a very grand room.

  The room was very cold at night although there was a small heater provided it was still very cold.

  "Extremely clean, Friendly staff, Excellent facilities, very good food and drink selection," (107687781)

  Conciege service desk for information, points of view and advice, was outstanding,. They booked us reservations and gave us advice as where was best to eat, how to get there etc really helpfull and made us feel very comfortable.

  On the internet i booked a double room for me and my girlfriend, upon check in at 2:30pm we was asked if we could wait until 3:00pm to check in as the room was not ready, they said they would store our bags which we were more than happy with as we were dieing to have a look around Edinbrough castle, upon our return at 5:00pm nothing was said to us,we collected our luggage and went upstairs, but when we opened our room door we found 2 single beds, why if there was a problem was it not mentioned before we carried our bags upstairs im really not sure, so im came back down to the front desk and had to wait for 15 minutes while someone tried to explain to me why the room i had booked and checked into at 2:30 was not avaliable now,. magicly then 1 became avaliable ????
