Noisy since we stayed next to the fire exit and there were people banging on the door all night. Ugly smell from the toilettes.

Pleasant staff
Very springy mattress, grubby shower with no toilet roll. When you turned the shower on there was a dribble of water! Very loud as above a pub

I didn't realized on the Internet that the room had no bathroom, it was shared. Maybe try to make this piece of information more visible on the online booking process.

Great place to stay for such a bargain price. The pub downstairs has a great atmosphere and good ales, the room was light and spacious and clean. You can access the rooms via some side stairs if you're going to be back after the pub closes. And you get breakfast. What's to complain about?

condition of hotel appeared in disrepair, I asked staff to turn on the heat in my room as it was in the 30's Farenheit and it was never turned on and had to sleep in many layers of clothing, only two electrical plugs in room

Quality budget hotel, friendly staff, clean room, tastefully decorated.Green lane is full of restaurants and cafes. Manor House tube is only two minutes away.

The tea and coffee facilities were quite adequate.
Poor quality of communal bathroom. Had to use what seemed to be the fire escape, to enter and exit the hotel. The communal lighting was very poor, with no lighting at all at times. I tripped, bruised myself, and broke a heel.

Hotel if you can call it that was very poor and very dirty. We felt very unhappy to stay and if we were staying for more than 1 night we would have changed to another no matter the cost. We were so appalled we have taken photos to prove its disgraceful facilities.

the hotel room was lovely and have alot of space
very close to the road so lots of noise. having to go through the pub should have a side door to come through different from the pub door. the tap in the room was making a lot of noise through the night. the tv did not work.

Internet connection was excellent, adequate room size, coffee making facilities

The staff were friendly, if more interested in the pub than the accomodation.
The building was in bad repair, with the sink coming away from the wall in one of the toilets and plaster scattered on the floor. The shared toilets and showers were not very clean.

It was warm, too warm in our room that had the boiler.
Rooms were not en-suite: the three shower rooms were disgusting - one had no light, another had a large window with no curtain, the third had holes in the door that needed to be packed with cotton wool. The toilets had urnine all over the floor from the previous night. The beds were hideously uncomfortable. The TV had no reception on any channel. There was no coffee, only stale teabags in the room. The towels provided were only hand towels. Certain lights were not on in part of the hotel. The entry exit door was on the fire escape which was next to our room - it banged all night long as people came and went. To get to the room in the evening we had to walk through a beer garden of drunken men, as four women staying there we felt very uncomfortable as lewd comments were thrown at us. The walls between rooms were so thin that we could hear the springs on the bed in the next room as the occupant rolled over. New carpet had obviously just been fitted and off cuts were left lying around everywhere which were a hazard in corridors with no lights especially. The rooms stank of cigarette smoke. The list can go on.

Clean sheets and towels, some milk and cereals, tea making facilities and juice.
Very uncomfortable bed, first night seriously thought about going and sleeping in the car, got no sleep at all, room was on a busy junction overlooking traffic lights. Second night just too tired from the first night so did sleep, just. Dirty room, uncleaned carpets, disgusting bathrooms. Could have not been much worse!! TV not working properly.

The hotel was good for the price and a very nice pub underneath.
our bed was broke so we had to put our matress on the floor, the television had a terrible ariel so didnt work & no dvd player as stated on the website. the showers were horrible, but as stated before, cant really complain because the price was good.
