  "Insufficient attention to cleanliness but otherwise a potentially acceptable hotel for an overnight stay." (107573071)

  Location and easy to find. Restaurant reasonable price and food quite good. General decor good. Comfort of room and hotel reasonable for the price

  Cleanliness of room. There were cobwebs in many areas of the room indicating that cleaning had only been carried out superficially. Also there was thick dust and other debris under the bed. We were initially allocated a room but asked to be moved as it had a smell (posibly cigarette smoke)and it overlooked a noisy roundabout. In the second room there were bread crumbs in the bed which led us to think that the sheets may not have been changed since the previous occupant(very serious if true).

  Accueuil cordial. Petit déjeuner généreux. Chambres modestes, mais propres. Assez boin rapport qualité : prix;

  L'hôtel est coincé entre deux routes, mais elles n'ont pas été très bruyantes.

  "What a real joy to stay in Chartres. The staff were excellent. The room was far better that than hotels we stayed in at twice the price. The food was also the best by far of all the places we stayed in on this business visit. Thank you" (107558871)

  We were pleasantly surprised by the meal we enjoyed in the restaurant. it was excellent! We did not have breakfast as even at a reasonable 5 euros 90, compared with most French hotel's 8 euros, it is still cheaper to do what we did, which was have breajfast at the local Geant: orange juice freshly squeezed, hot chocolate and a pain au raisin for 3 euros 20.

  Just the price of the breakfast.
