"The 2 nights at the end of our holiday were a perfect antidote to busy Siena and Florence. A great place to stay on the way back to Rome airports." (107227913)

Food was excellent (you need to book ahead, though), views spectacular and service very good. Pool was still open, which is great at this time of year. Very remote location, 5km away from next main road - so very quiet and lovely night skies. Easy to reach Rome airports (took us about 2.5 hours in the morning). Brilliant hot springs nearby at Saturnia which can be accessed FOC (check your guide book) and not too busy at this time of year.

Not easy to find. Use directions rather than Sat Nav! It might be worth mentioning in directions that exit from main road is West of Manciano and near a roadside Bar. Be prepared for power cuts.

"We enjoyed ourselves immensely and only wish we had more time to spend there. The owners were great hosts very enjoyable and not at all in your face." (97884533)

Absolutely gorgeous views, authentic Tuscan style home and grounds, friendly and accomodating owners & staff. The food was excellent and locally obtained.
