  "Most enjoyable and a refreshing change" (107134079)

  Staff very friendly. Good location for centre of Waterford but quiet enough not to be disturbed at night. Clean and tidy throughout the hotel. Good safe/secure car parking facilities. Excellent food in the hotel restaurant and good atmosphere in the hotel bar

  "nothing really wrong, just quite expensive for what we got, so didn't seem like good value. and equivalent stay we had recently in scotland cost us £60 which was good value for slightly more facilities. we didn't use the online checkin process - it didn't work, we had to phone the uk from ireland to book the hotel in ireland?!!!"   clean, comfy, adequate

  no linked room, we were a family split into two rooms, no snacks available, we arrived late, no biscuits in room for tea/coffee

  Food was excellent. Only hotel with its own carpark. friendly staff.

  "The room was standard but in good condition and well kept. All the appliances listed on website were present and in good order. The hotel is located in a nice area but was a little difficult to find. A single sign on the main road would solve this as the signage after the initial turn off from the main road is good. The meal we had was inclusive and thus the entire range was not available but the choices given were good. The quality of the meal was excellent (and quantity too). I particularly liked that the tea and coffe at the end of the meal was a full pot of each. Will be using this hotel again." (97473237)

  Hotel very clean and staff friendly. Meal in restaurant was excellent. Easy walking distance to centre.

  TV remote - volume jumped 'up' each time you changed the channel. Bathroom a little tired looking.

  "The only problem we experienced was the car park and as I already said it needs to be reviewed. We had breakfast and would like to see mushrooms on the menu. we were with another couple and we all had dinner in the restaurant and the food was terrrific. We will definetly be back." (97780880)

  The hotel had a lovely welcome feel about it and it was very central to the town. The staff were very efficent as we had a problem with the car park. We would like to specially thank Karen the manager in the way she dealt with the problem.she is a credit to The marina Hotel.

  The car park security needs to be addressed

  "There was a group of 4 people travelling with me, we all enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was really good, excellent location for the city centre. Perfect for what we wanted." (97460433)

  Supposed to be a non smoking room, room smelt of fags. Shower cap over the smoke detecter. Outside & below the window is a gutter full of fag ends

  "our stay was nice and relaxing with helpful staff, lovely view and nice food and oh yea, a huge room! i would definately stay in this hotel again if i was visiting the city!" (97091133)

  the accomodation was very good. the room was huge!!

  for the size of the room it could have done with a bigger tv.

  "Hotel excellent but may not stay again because of lack of internet access in hotel room. Other than that it was excellent. Easy to find. Great views of river. If you are staying for leisure this should be the hotel you choose in Waterford. Excellent value for money." (99110567)

  Excellent position. Safe internal car parking. Very friendly staff. Restaurant excellent.

  Lack of internet access in hotel room. Had to use hotel computer in lobby.

  Location, away from the hussle and bussle but within 5 mins walking distance of the square

  The water was not hot enough for a shower it was only luke warm. No vending machine for food - only drinks

  Lovely location and view from the room. Hotel was clean, well equiped and I particularly liked the secure parking provided.

  This hotel came as a complete surprise to me in terms of quality. I had a great room with windows on three sides overlooking the river and downtown, which was large and very comfortable.

  "We booked this hotel at the last minute and were not really sure of its location but it was excellent for our needs, not right on the q uay which can be very noisy, but near to all the facilities needed.The hotel was run by efficient very friendly staff. the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We only had Breakfast during our stay, there was lots of variety, and the cooked meal was very nice" (2812280)

  First impressions are very important and we were very pleased with the welcome we were given All the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. They really were excellent

  We would have appreciated a snack in the late evening, there was not a sandwich even available

  "The staff were excellent - very informative and friendly. As it was off season, we understood that there wasn't much in the way of entertainment in the bar but the bar staff and the quality of the food was to a very high standard." (2295002)

  Our room was spacious and the view was spectacular. The overall decor was patchy with paint peeling off the walls in areas to the side of the bed. The bed linen, particularly the navy blue decorative cushion, was stained in places and the duvet cover was torn - this, combined with the paintwork gave the room an 'unlived in' appearance.

  Decor - even in the bar area the overall effect looked shabby with upholstery and paintwork needing to be renewed.

  River view was outstanding

  Two points - bed was not as wide as at other hotels (tweo well built people). Room was overwarm with no air conditioning or means of cooling

  "overall quality hoptels waterford and youghal i found to be of excellent quality and very convient to all amanities. will certainly be re visiting" (2170015)

  when we stayed at quality hotels waterford we found it to be most relaxing and very well organised, excellent with children, we also stayed in quality hotels youghal i must say it is well worth a visit, children were never bored, and activities were excellent, rooms were just out of this world , rating out of 10 i must say 12, great value for money.

  "I tried to book 2 doubles and one single, but was unable to do that on line. However, the Hotel only charged for the rooms that we had, but it did worry me that we would have to pay for 3 doubles. We could have used a map of the hotel's location prior to arrival, although we did find it quite easily, more by luck than judgement. We drove there from Cork and was pleased to be able to park in the Hotel's secure car park. We ate there for breakfast and evening meal and each meal was excellent, well cooked and good value. The staff were very attentive, helpful and polite. We plan to visit this area again and will definitely stay at the Quality Hotel. We could not fault this hotel in any way." (1990900)
