  Excellent service in Reception. Good breakfast. The link with the Mirador Restaurant.

  Some water damage in Room 400. Lady from the hotel entered both our rooms [400 & 500] without knocking first, along with two plumbers/decorators[?] I think this constitutes very poor manners at a personal level and very poor practice on the hotel's part.

  This Hotel is very good value for money and all the staff are very helpful. The rooms are of a big size and have all the ammenities which you require. I am not sure why this hotel is only a 2 * hotel to me it should be at least a 3* if not 4*.

  The only thing i can say bad about the hotel is that there is no restaurant on the premises, however the sister restaurant is a 1 minute walk from the hotel.

  Clean reception area

  Hotel unable to change GBP for us to pay the bill, they would charge the credit card that we had given if we had not turned up, but as we had not brought a card with us could not pay via a card and they would not charge the card withour seeing it even though they would have done if we had not arrived prior 1800hrs!

  "Very happy and would recommend this hotel. But ask for a room at the back away from the main street.We had to open the window because the room was very warm." (108212605)

  Staff friendly and efficiant. Room did not smell and was nice and clean.

  Traffic noise and seagulls making a lot of noise during the night and the local council deceided to wash down the pavements at 066 hours in the morning. BUT these comments are not the fault of the hotel.

  clean and friendly hotel, helpful staff, english speaking reception, hotel is a 10 min walk from the town centre and about half an hour from the beach.

  The Hotel was an excellent price for a clean room with a great shower and a bright light in the bathroom (which meant you could shave accurately). Brekafast was also excellent value for perfect French bread.

  "I needed to get away and relax following a bout of ill health and that is exactly what I was able to do. Nothing was a problem." (107765148)

  Friendly, English speaking staff. Room size adequate and clean if not a bit 1970'in decor, hottest hotel showers I have come across in years. Plenty of choice on the continental breakfast. Gave us an adapter to charge mobile phone.

  No bar, although their partner restaurant is only a few doors away and you do get a discount on a meal.

  Generally a cheap clean hotel

  The breakfast was not very good. Coffee from a vending machine,orange juice with a slight "tang" to it and a toaster but no bread to make toast. On another occasion I would eat breakfast elsewhere.

  Friendly staff

  The room was freezing. When we asked about the heating the "friendly" member of staff said she was "désolé", tapping her watch to imply that we shouldn't need a warm room at 10 pm. The lobby was boiling hot. We slept in our clothes including coats (March 28th!). There were also no amenities such as a kettle for tea or coffee. Also despite the fact that the hotel knew where we had parked, no-one told us that the road all around the hotel would be closed the next day as there was a race going on.

  secure parking at locked overnight garage across street. nice breakfast.

  staff carrying dirty bed sheets in their hands and sharing lift with us. limited tv channels. non smoking room still smell of tobacco.

  Great location close to lots of bars, restaurants and all the towns shops, friendly staff, nice and quiet at night and a good breakfast in the morning uptil 11am !!

  "The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Calais.Parking if you are lucky is just outside the Hotel or just up the road at the shopping centre at a reasonable rate." (107260652)

  Friendly staff who spoke good English and were very helpful with any queries we had. Breakfast excellent with plenty of choices to eat.

  Slightly disappointed that you could not get a drink at the bar unless you ordered food,but no food was available.

  Price good. Atmosphere good. Breakfast included is an appreciated feature and good quality.

  Evidence of a small amount of sooty mould in rooms used. Seagull noise nuisance early in the morning.

  Kept clean, room was tiedied and beds made, clean towls each day, Very friendly staff, Always greeted by a smile from the staff. A good selection of Breakfast and Drinks.
