  For breakfast prefer to have eggs cooked to order and the bacon is too under done, otherwise no problem

  Very efficient staff and good standard of decor and cleanliness etc. I did experience some problems trying to access the free wifi but maybe the problem was with my technological capabilities

  food - particularly breakfast was poor quality - staff were super but re-constituted egg was a disappointment and sausages were appalling - if you have a chef in attendance then please let him do his job. Would it be a problem for him to cook fresh food for the guests as required at breakfast? I would stay again but not use the restaurant which was a disappointment - better breakfast on the ferry!

  The Hotel is in a convenient position as we travel by road from the UK to Germany, The special deals booking in advance on the internet are good. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are efficient and polite.

  So called "English Breakfast" was poor. The egg could be cut out in slices, the bacon was fried to death being like a crisp and the sausages seemed to be made out of sawdust. Despite having paid extra for such a breakfast we couldn't eat it. We had to make do with the continental breakfast offerings which were O.K. For some reason the air conditioning had been turned off, our stay was mid-October and so the room was quite hot.

  Nice hotel; clean, big bed, good sized bathroom (great shower!), and staff were helpful.

  Cooked breakfast didn't taste very nice - but lots of other options to fill up on.

  Convenient, functional location for channel tunnel. Staff helpful and friendly. Evening meal quite good.

  Hotel rather lacking in personality - part of a chain so somewhat sterile and impersonal.

  "With the exception of the unavailability of the swimming pool on day one a most enjoyable stay." (108342616)

  Nice and quiet and relaxing atmosphere Restuarant provided excellent service,food and wine When leaving the Eurotunnel well sign posted

  The advertised facilities, in particular the swimming pool, was not available on arrival until 1700. Intentionally arriving from UK early (1400) in order to take full advantage of the pool it was extremely disappointing this was not available.

  Good location for Eurotunnel. Room was clean and good size. Breakfast provided a good choice. Health club with swimming pool.

  Disappointed with dinner in restaurant, particularly as hotel is listed in 2009 Michelin Guide; traditional Flemish stew served with chips didn't seem right.

  "We had a wonderful stay in Paris and our food there was excellent and also the wine was excellent and at a reasonable price. Also I thought the room was in fair condition not what we were expecting in this day and age. Very worn and as for the pillows - dreadful. I did not ask for replacements!!!!" (107960852)

  Handy for Tunnel!

  The food was dreadful. We were so looking forward to our last night in France and my steak in particular was dreadful. It was like shoe leather. My husband's was a little better. I did not complain because I was appalled at my meal. The cost of the wine was out of order.

  Very nice, clean hotel. Reasonably priced food, pool table in lobby and swimming pool, kept children occupied.

  Nothing really bad to say. Would have been good if the room had pay per view movies or more cable stations.

  overall this was a pleasant weekend in a good hotel very convenient for the channel tunnel.

  The only problem we incured was the awfull disco music on the tv in the hotel bar, we wanted to relax with a drink or two, we asked two members of staff to turn it down but they just gave a strange look and walked away, which is what we did too.

  Well situated for Eurotunnel, also close to Auchan Complex and Cite Europe. Rooms clean and a reasonable size. Good to be offered a choice of pillows! Restaurant excellent.

  1. My personal details were supplied when booking online but the check-in form did not have them. 2. The bathroom appeared a bit dirty (although it wasn't) due to its overdue refurbishment. 3. Only thin blankets (not warm enough in winter).

  The hotel is very convenient for an over-night stop. The resaurant is good and breakfast excellent.

  The bathrooms very not spotless and need some attention. Showerheads need cleaning so that you can get a decent spray.

  "We would like to stay in this hotel again but we hope that the future check in process will have improved.The reception staff should be be taught the difference between a debit card and a credit card. " (107436091)

  The hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable and the meals are excellent.I took advantage of swimming in the pool which was very enjoyable.Most of the staff were excellent.

  Our visit this time was marred by the check in process.The receptionist asked for our card and she told us that the hotel machine would not accept it. my husband gave his card with the same response and said that we had probably used the card too much already that day!We were not amused by her demeanour and it caused us much anxiety as to the reason why this happened.We contacted our credit card company the nrxt day.they informed us that they had put a security block on the card when the hotel first entered the card numbers and they told the hotel to phone them to clear it.but the hotel failed to action their request.
