  The staff were very nice

  The room was cold dark and very dingy we were giving a room for disabled people the food was really discusting we were thinking of holding are wedding there but were totally dissapointed and the night was totally spoiled we even had a hair in our breakfast and would never dream of staying there again if it wasnt for the freindly staff we would of walk out that night

  "The hotel is beautiful, staff were friendly and helpful. I'd love to come back and stay again - for longer next time! :)" (107941794)

  Room was beautifully decorated & comfortable and the bathroom excellently appointed. The staff were friendly & helpful. Hotel setting is picturesque.

  The room numbering is odd & I found locating my room very difficult & confusing - a more logical approach to room numbering and improved signposting to and from reception/spa etc would make guests' life a lot easier - I got lost several times!

  Location to where I was going the next day. Reasonable breakfast

  Terrible low noise from room next door. I had unbroken sleep and called reception at 2am to complain, it came from the next room and it seemed the people next door left some eqpt running. Very noisy when rain fell onto to roof (velux window). Very busy in bar and restaurant.

  Room was fine, hotel grounds fantastic, facilities good, staff more than helpful.

  No bad points really, we did have a high chair with no tray which was difficult for our baby and had to wait for staff to appear at the bar sometimes for service.

  Beautiful building in excellent grounds. The bathroom and bedroom were furnished to a very high standard. Very good breakfast.

  "All staff ensured that our stay in their hotel was a pleasurable experience for both my wife and i who stay in hotels regularly and the children who dont. Food quality was very good if a little limited, i would have liked to see more hot choice." (107461763)

  The room was a good size, clean and everything was in good, working order.

  The food and drinks were horrendously expensive. I don't see any reason at all for such high inflation of prices, especially having to pay £3.40 for a glass of coke!

  Bargain price - 'mad march' offer - but would be reasonable at normal price. Good, attentive and polite staff. Spacious rooms.

  Small bar. room looking a bit 'tired' - could do with refit. Bar prices a bit high for the region.

  All staff were very well mannered -- it was a pleasure to be in a pleasant atmosphere as without exception they communicated in a friendly,smiling,and proper manner.You have a valuable asset!

  The menu on our third night was exactly the same as our first night(we were on a three night stay)and we were not advised about having to book for dinner times.-----Ah but these are not major faults.Your are still the tops.

  Excellent hotel and hotel staff. No complaints in this area whatsoever

  The Restaurant. The food was very good but the service was rushed. No sooner had we finished one course than they were clearing it away and bringing on the next. If we had wanted it so, we could have consumed our whole meal in less than an hour. This was our 35th wedding anniversary and the meal was to be the highlight of our overnight stay. Whilst the food was very good the overall experience was very poor. We sat at a table with other tables around us which just werent set for anyone to eat at. The whole experience was dissapointing to say the least. In our opinion the restaurant lacks guidance by a good maitre de. Staff too young and too immature. It was a bit like being in a McDonalds restaurant.

  Lovely location and great leisure facilities

  Overcharged on two counts - check your bill carefully! We could have ended up paying twice for food and accommodation.

  The hotel room was very nicely colour co-ordinated and plush, the breakfast was to everyone taste and lots of variety

  Arrived at 4.30p.m. the room was cold and heating did not come on till 6.30..Our room number was not taken at breakfast, so upon check out when asked if we had breakfast? we could have said no, and you would have been non the wiser. Glasses in the room and the one delivered to the room via room service were non to clean

  Very clean, leisure facilities were very good.

  Food not to the standard I would of imagined for a Hotel like this. Was ok of the deal we had which included DBB but if paying separately would of expected more. Breakfast was very Greasy.

  Roomservice menu needs more choices particularly starters. Room rate swapped and changed each night a bit off putting especially for expense claims.

  The only bad point is that we were charged for 8 breakfast's and only 6 of my party actually had breakfast and two had a continental breakfast. There is no method of checking who had the breakfast. I was subsequently overcharged some

  "The impression given was that the residents were less important than those attending weddings and private parties during the weekend. Bar ran out of real ale and Hotel had no replacement for at least two days.Coffee machine kept breaking down, lack of a staff in the bar during busy periods. Lift out of order all weekend. Extensive cooked breakfasts but could have been warmer." (97877423)

  "VERY PLEASED WITH OUR STAY. THE HOTEL IS VERY PICTURESQUE ESPECIALLY LIT UP AT NIGHT AND FOR CHRISTMAS.THE LEISURE FACILITIES WERE VERY GOOD ASWELL WHICH HAS A SWIMMING POOL,SAUNA,JACUZZI AND STEAM ROOM (THIS WAS OUT OF ORDER WHEN WE WERE THERE).THERE IS ALSO A HAIRDRESSERS,BEAUY SALON AND A SOFT PLAY AREA FOR THE KIDS. THE ONLY THING WOULD BE TO ADVISE BOOKING UP BEFORE HAND FOR THE BEAUY AND HAIRDRESSERS INCASE THE'RE FULL WHEN YOU GET THERE. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE WE HAD WAS THE FIRST NIGHT THEY WERE VERY BUSY IN THE RESTAURANT AND COULDN'T GET A TABLE TO 9.15PM,WHICH ISN'T TOO BAD AS WE FORGOT TO BOOK EARLIER,BUT WE ACTUALLY DIDN'T GET SEATED UNTIL 10.20PM AND WERE STILL EATING AT 11.40PM,BUT BECAUSE OF THAT THE STAFF WERE VERY KEEN TO ASSIST.,COMPARED TO THE NEXT NIGHT WHEN WE BOOKED EARLY BUT THE WAITING ON WASN'T VERY GOOD,HAD TO ASK THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE JUST TO GET A DRINKS ORDER,BUT OTHER THAN THAT VERY GOOD."   IT WAS VERY NICE WITH A JACUZZI BATH AND POWER SHOWER. WHERE WE WERE IT WAS NICE AND QUIET COULDN'T HEAR THE WEDDINGS GOING ON.THE DECOR WAS VERY PLEASING ASWELL.

  "We could not fault our stay at the Redworth Hall, the only downside of our stay was our car was trashed right outside the main hotel reception where we booked it on the Friday night after the Hotel catered for a Christmas Party - which we were not part of!! I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay, with good accommodation facilities and very good restaurant. But would find it really diffcult to recommend leaving your car" (97342851)

  We booked a romantic break package and received a four poster bed suite which was very nice. The size of the room was big.

  bed was comfortable, very good shower

  double room was on very bottom floor with a long trail from reception, and far away from the rest of our party. Two separate lifts needed to get to the room, only view was of a brick wall and with noise of bins being rumbled along the path at eye level.

  "was not told anything when booking in about layout of hotel, had to ask for this information. As I had not stayed her before was a bit lost.
