  the bed was a good size -- my husband did not get bachache and the pillows were comfortable

  the radiator did not work and the sink waste had no grill on it so had to be careful not to drop anything down it

  own room had all that i needed/ all facilities worked well

  Noticed the hairdryer was last PAT tested in 2008.Therefore, out of date. Could do with signage from car-park (front) to hotel entrance. As I went through the whole of the buiolding to get there! Rear car-park should have exterior security lighting for convenience

  "Would recommend hotel. You can walkthrough to pub. The pub looked good with fine selection of drinks & bar food, beer garden and pool tables" (108681381)

  Very clean room. Dark curtains! Excellent facilities like ironing board, kettle, shower etc and flat screen tv. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.

  ActiveHotel booking had not been set up on their computer, luckily I had print out of booking allowing manager to key my details in. But what would have happened if Hotel was full for night? Soundproofing was very bad, had adjoining door to room next door offered no resistance to noise. Also occasionally had bad electrical interference from various appliances around hotel which made television viewing difficult.

  We had the continental breakfast.It was poor quality and poor value. Croisants in plastic bags.No fresh fruit.No greeting from staff.No offer of full breakfast.Food drink and tables poorly set out.Self service too an extreme

  " Not very enjoyable. Restaurant was overcrowded and poor. All TV sets had football on despite over 50% of room being unintereted females. " (107846646)

  cLEAN, QUIET

  DEcor of room was off putting. Brown door with picture frame on it looked like a prison cell door. Bathroom was dowdy. Bedside light was glaring .Continental breakfast waas very poor. Had to ask for fruit, croissants very sad.

  "My only complaint is your internet site said that this hotel had no internet access so I did not switch on my computer having arrived late. When I commented on this during checking out, I was informed that the hotel does have internet access" (107355236)

  Was very impressed with the Hotel, I thought it was going to be a grubby B n B for the price and last minute booking but I was so wrong. We stayed at the Days Inn in Nuneaton the next 2 nights as that was booked prior and it wasn't as good. 10/10

  "Excellent would definately stay here again!!" (107325196)

  We stayed in room 109. The bedroom was very clean. The bed was massive and so comfy we didn't want to get up the next morning. The staff in the bar were very helpful and curteous. The evening meal was lovely as was breafast. I would definately recommend this hotel.

  Clean rooms, good location, nice restaurant / pub

  Reception unmanned, had to ask to check in and check out at the bar.

  "The accommodation was what we hoped it would be and the fact that value for money food and drink was on hand without driving anywhere else was brilliant." (97299709)

  I always prefer to stay attached to a pub. The pub food and service was excellent.

  "Notice in reception says 'When no one in reception please go to Restaurant' This hotel does not have a separate restaurant. Staff in bar checked me in, without any delay. Suggest sign be changed to read 'Bar' instead of restaurant." (97105577)

  Power shower, 2 meals in bar for £10.

  The bed, the tv, the breakfast, the life in the bar in the evening and the quiet at night

  "Hotel was adequate for our needs, I would recommend it." (97403179)

  It was clean and tidy and not too old fashioned! Great shower.

  Not enough milk and sugar for more than one cup of tea or coffee each.

  The room was clean, well furnished and spacious.

  The heating was a bit erratic and the room was a little too warm.

  "Very good at the price." (97050970)

  Nice room. Good breakfast. Reasonable price.

  Checking out slow due to other guest booking a future wedding reception and we only had a limited time due to commitments that morning.
