  "Stecker für Kaffeemaschine nicht mehr ganz sicher (zerfällt in Einzelteile). Normale Steckdosen waren nicht vorhanden, so konnte man nicht mal ein Handy aufladen. Wasser in Dusche dauert viel zu lange, bis es einigermaßen warm wird." (2079175)

  "Complessivamente il sogiorno è stato piacevole e soddisfacente. Nessun problema da riscontrare. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Lenzuola pulite, camera in ordine. Se proprio devo fare un appunto direi che la stanza era all'ultimo piano e 5 piani a piedi nn sono il massimo(specialmente se si è stanchi dopo una giornata che si è andati in giro per londra). E' la seconda volta che soggiorno qui ed in entrambi i casi sono rimasto soddisfatto e credo che il prossimo hotel londinese sarà ancora questo." (108174900)

  "Decent enough hotel for cheap price in central London. 5 minute walk to both Victoria bus and train/underground station. If wasn't able to find anything cheaper/nicer elsewhere would stay here again, however would try somewhere different next time." (108682322)

  Clean room. Comfortable beds. Shower was fixed within an hour of reporting it.

  Checked into room to find it had not been cleaned from previous guest. Had requested a low floor due to amount of luggage (as no elevator) and was placed on the top floor! House keeping knocked on door to tell us to check out at 10.15am - check out was 10.30am!

  very good location, the room was very clean and spacious...good value for money.

  2 mins walk from the victoria station and hence the regular low pitch noise of trains/ tube going past...but noticeable only when u r laying in bed and not occupied with anything.

  Convenient location for Westminster (where I was attending conferences.) Clean.

  Toilet and bathroom small and cramped - but clean. No plug in bedroom sink. TV reception poor for channel I wanted to view (BBC1).

  "I needed somewhere cheap to stay for a few nights while we moved house and this hotel adequately served that purpose. However, I probably wouldn't have been so happy with it if I was in London on holiday." (108631608)

  The hotel was cheap and close to where I work. The bed and towels were changed daily. There was a nice view from my window.

  The room was very tatty with a window that didn't shut properly and a heater and TV blocking the fire exit. The extractor fan in the en-suite shower room didn't work. It was extremely hot in the room at night, and not even having the window wide open and the fan on could cool it down sufficiently to be able to sleep comfortably.

  Got on suit room with good shower, pleasant feel, T.V and comfortable bed for under 35 pounds a night in central London. Better than expected. Excellent value

  Don't know if I would get a room like this again, as a double basic states a bed only, not even a basin. So was pleasantly surprised with the room I received on this occation.

  "OK for the price, location and staying only one night" (108735673)

  Room was clean but tiny

  Fifth floor walk up with only one bathroom and shower for the entire building of 15 rooms total. And the bath and shower on the first floor. My room was in the rear of the building over the rear courtyard with a loud party somewhere in that courtyard which lasted until 2330 at night.

  Close to Victoria tube and coach station, easy to find.

  Didn't actually stay in the house we booked, we were put in an "affiliated" hotel across the road We were unable to lock windows in the ground floor room so doubted the security of leaving belongings unattended. There were 3 holes in the mattresses. The rooms are done to the absolute minimum, bathrooms were below basic and looked pretty dirty. The walls were all taped up to cover the holes, a bit grim.

  "Pour passer une ou deux nuits ,c'est suffisant il faut se contenter du minimum (j'avais la chambre avec un lit adulte et deux fois deux lits superposés). c'est un hotel bas de gamme mais qui à l'avantage d'être peu cher. Attention, il vaut mieux reserver par internet car les prix sont beaucoup moins chers (ex 89£ via net contre 229£ sur place)" (108366431)

  A 5 min à pied de la station de metro Victoria, qui dessert de bons endroits (Bog Ben, Westminster, Musée de Mme Tussaud, Nothing Hill ect..) Le thé et le café ainsi que le micro ondes sont trés pratiques.

  Pas d'alaises sur la literie (un matelas sentait l'urine!!!). Joints de la salle de bain plus trés blancs (avec qq taches de moisissure) La chambre en sous sol (attention pour les clostrophobes!!), il y a une fenetre mais à 2 m du sol!

  Able to book a room at relatively short notice.

  Incredibly small room and bathroom which was not as suggested on the website. Only one very thin pillow available.

  "The information on this Collin House in the website is inadequate. It does say that there will not be breakfast available, but it should state that bathrooms (shower) and toilets are shared. The other facilities are minimal. It should also state the peak season and off season price." (97101427)

  Easy to locate and close to Victoria Station

  The accommodation in the Collin House is of low quality, the rooms are old and facilities are poor. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. There is a lack of hygiene. There is no lift facilities for upper floors. There is not even a chair in the room. The wire for the heating are all causally connected under the bed. The TV is not connected to any aerial, except it s own tiny aerial. The image is poor. Given the price, it is a rip off. I suppose it is the peak season price.

  "Horrible accomodation, complete rip off, over priced, and severely unreccommended." (107400319)

  first night upon arrival, were told to go to a different building by reception. upon being told the room was on top floor, asked hoe high the top floor was,requested for a lower floor because dad had problems climbing stairs. receptions reply was, 'its as high as the buildings you can see'. rooms were horribly furnished, only better than the alternative of sleeping on the streets. bedding was stowed away in the cupboard, window was broken and unable to open, tv seemed to be a luxury but didnt even have proper reception. Toilets were tiny, and the only water that came out of the shower head was a measly few drops every morning. upon checking out, requested to leave luggage at reception. was charged 3 pounds per bag, and on top of that, the management claimed no responsibility for the luggage we had payed to leave behind.

  "La habitación, así como el baño son de pequeñas dimensiones. No había armario, con lo que la ropa tenia que quedarse en las maletas todos los días de estancia. Colchones que debieran de ser cambiados, ya que se notaban y bastante los muelles. Eso si, las sábanas y toallas estaban limpias y se hizo un cambio en los seis días de estancia.   L'hotel è a due minuti da Victoria station, il quartiere è piuttosto bello, il prezzo buono.

  Ne vorrei segnalare uno solo: il lavandino ha due rubinetti separati per acqua calda e fredda, cosa che rende impossibile una miscelazione.

  the only good points with this of what THEY call a hotel is the front desk man was friendly.

  I checked in the man gave the keys to the room which i had to walk up 4 flights of stairs with a bad knee. I open the door to the room and is stinks in there. Oh and as i was walking up the stairs they kept on creeking. i felt like i was going to fall through the floor. so i open the door and it smells. very small room with no bathroom. you have to share the bathroom. To top it all off there was a plastic bag covering the widow. I guess the window was broken. So i had to sleep in the cold. As i was watching TV the channel i was watching about every 5 minutes or so would skip to a camera videoing a women that was sleeping. So what the hell is that. Do they have cameras in the rooms? i wonder. The bed made me itch all night and i couldn't fall asleep. the next morning i was supposed to get a knock on the door as my wake up call because they have no phones. And i did not receive my wake up knock. thanksfully i set my phone alarm. this place is horrible and i would NOT recommend it to ANYONE. Please do yourself a favor and do not book a stay here

  Perfect location for my stay.

  Noise. My room on the ground floor was right next to the front door and it was slammed shut at regular intervals at all hours of the night - impossible to sleep. Next time I would ask for a room at the rear.

  "proximity to the coach station within walking distance. save on taxi fares. For back-packers, its good value for money. If not for that weird disturbance at night, it is not a bad hotel " (107603146)

  hotel quite clean. room spacious because we were given a family room at the price of a triple room. electric kettle and microwave and fridge are useful and convenient.

  no lift. room at basement. we have to carry our heavy luggage ourselves up and down the stairs without help.Air a bit humid and stuffy. Weak shower as one outlet was leaking. In the middle of the night we were awakened by someone shouting and banging hard on our door. We were so scared, we dared not open the door. we feel insecure.

  "I would come back only if i knew the man who was there when we were stayin was no longer there!!" (107651219)

  we were very impressed with the room we were allocated.

  the person on shift was extremely rude and threatened to chuck us out of the hotel when are intention was to stay for two nights.In the end we left and found another hotel to stay in.
