  I rather like Campanile and have used them all over Europe - it feels like I'm abroad - even when in Yorkshire!. Also the staff are super - friendly, helpful and happy

  I couldn't find a powerpoint in my room to recharge my phone - all appliances seemd to go to fused spurs . . . . I'd have been annoyed if I'd wanted to use a laptop

  "Excellent, we would definitely use this hotel again. Anything we requested was met with a smile and a warm welcome. Very refreshing, and very good value for money." (108366547)

  We were attending a venue during the day which meant we were unable to check in at the allocated time of 2.30 p.m. however, the staff were very flexible and offered us alternatives in order for us to be able to gain access to our room. The breakfast facilities were excellent. The room was basic but met our needs for an overnight stay.

  We were unable to secure an early check in due to the large amount of visitors checking out on the day, it would have been nice to know we were settled into our room before going on to the venue we were due to attend. As explained earlier though this problem was handled very well by staff

  the outside not so inviting please improve the oustide look of it .like the one in northampton is quite inviting

  Booking procedure and experience over the internet was excellent

  Facilities within the room not to expected standard. Can improve on size/capacity of kettle, provision of drinking water and availability of extra bedding (blankets/duvets). No instructions on usage of telephone and available television channels.

  the food in the restraunt was terrible. Pre cooked chicken heated up in the microwave with frozen chips and a few salad leaves

  check in was good, friendly staff! hotel was clean enough.

  the bad points were booking on-line, i had thought that giving my card details over the internet ment i had paid, there was no indication of non-payment, i think this needs to be addressed as i was short of money during my stay due to this.

  The accomodation was comfortable,clean and with an excellent shower! Lovely breakfast and most friendly and helpful staff.

  It would have been nice to have a socket in our rooms to recharge our mobile phones.

  "Thought this was good value for money. Bed was very comfortable and had a good nights sleep. If the bathroom had been better I would have recommended it as excellent for a cheap nights stay." (107868861)

  The bed was larger than a double bed and was pleasantly surprised. Room was very spacious. Had a good nights sleep. Plenty of parking with wide spaces. Liked having some digital channels on the TV.

  Only 1 socket. Couldn't charge phone and have TV on. Bath had a whole in it which had been shoddily repaired. I had a shower at the mother in laws rather than use this. Could hear doors slamming and kids running up and down outside. Needs more sound proofing. Beer was flat and tasted vile in the bar area.

  No BAD points, certain areas could do with a coat of paint. The hotel without a lift would be little use to the elderly and infirm if ground floor accom. unavailable

  "i was under charged for my stay on departing the hotel, then they took it upon themselves to take more money from my account without my permission resulting in me being charged even more money from my bank." (108022878)

  i liked the fact it was like a holiday camp instead of a hotel

  room smelt heavily of smoke. The drinks were massivly overpriced which led to us drinking elsewhere.

  Very helpful staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed.

  Non-slip bath mat should be standard. Big Brother shouldn't be allowed on the TV in the bar, where it was impossible to avoid if a drink was required!
