  "für englische Verhältnisse war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ordnung, das Zimmer war aber relativ klein und die Plastik-WC-Dusch-Einheit ist nicht jedermanns Sache. Das Hotel liegt sehr weit außerhalb des Zentrums, dafür in der Nähe des Kongresszentrums" (1933163)

  Bügelmöglichkeit, Nähe zum Kongresszentrum, gute Anschlußmöglichkiet zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln

  "Das Hotel hat eine relative gute Anbindung in die Innenstadt, vorausgesetzt man hat nichts dagegen 30 Minuten unterwegs zu sein. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich und ausreichend. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und gut ausgestattet, stetssauber und gepflegt. Nur die Freundlichkeit und die Hilfsbereitschaft ließ ewas zu wünschen übrig, was zum Beispiel Probleme oder Wegbeschreibungen an ging. Sonst empfehlenswert, würde wieder hin gehen- sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis für das nicht gerade preiswerte London" (1702820)

  "Got the rooms at a good price on the Internet but would not consider value for money at regular room rate." (108620446)

  Good location for our requirements.

  Charge for use of car park - especially when you've just spent nearly £600 on rooms. Breakfast room was like a train station. Reception staff efficient, but not particularly welcoming.

  Plumbing and hot-water supply in bathroom sometimes erratic.

  nice breakfast - handy for the 02

  requested a low floor room, but on 5th floor and do not like lifts, so as hotel was full had to climb the 5 flights. Shower very small

  "It was fine for the purpose - going to the O2 arena - as it was right next to DLR station. And very reasonably priced. If I came back I would want to check the room size before booking." (108815060)

  Clean, with a fresh towel daily, comfortable beds with right tog duvets for temperature in room. TV in working order and, although text had been changed to Russsian language, immediate response from reception when we asked for help in changing it.

  The room was so small we had to stand on one of the beds to put clothes on the hangers and shelves provided. It was described as a standard twin but was really not suitable for twin beds. I had originally booked a standard double and changed my booking a week before arrival for a twin, if one was still available. Possibly this was the trouble.

  "On the whole, I was more than happy with my stay and would stay there again. I would also recommend the Customs House Hotel to others." (108871125)

  The staff were excellent. Very helpful and very pleasant. The hotel was very clean and easy to find your way around it. Breakfast was very good. The position of the hotel virtually next door to the Excel Arena is an extra bonus.

  The only poor point was the room itself. It was very small and the shower and toilet extremely small (purpose built pod). Being on the large side, I found it difficult to use.

  found the hotel very handy to the O2 arena but a long way out from other amenities.

  bathroom/toilet very cramped and not good having a basin in the bedroom as the space was tight. the TV was not a very good reception.

  The hotel was conveniently situated opposite the DLR. The food was good and reasonably priced, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

  Only one complaint; the mattress on the bed of room 508 was very lumpy and uncomfortable.

  Staff's response to request for additional pillow on that day not pleasing and had an uncomfortable night with one pillow, when i am used to more pillows. The way the staff dealt with my parking charges and the final bill was not pleasing. No information on whether there is an air conditioner or not, if there how to use it.

  très accueillant,personnel sympathique,très positive le service de thé,café qui nous attendais dans notre chambre.

  Il y avait un bruit continue nous ne savons pas si c'était du à la ventilation,ou travaux.nous avons d'éploré le manque de chauffage,personnelle ne parlant pas le français.

  "The hotel met our purposes for a short stay but we feel that there are other hotels in the area which would have been more comfortable with better facilities at the same kind of prices." (107396331)

  Staff were pleasent and very helpful. We asked for extra pillows and they were supplied as requested.

  There was no easy chair whichs meant it wasn't easy to relax unless we used the bed. Car parking wasn't available when we arrived because a wedding party took all of the parking. We have no problems with the wedding but it meant that our car was left out in the street in an area with broken glass from windscreens of other cars was on the ground. It was late, after coming from a show we attended before we were able to park in the hotel parking facilities. Also the parking fee was excessive for a resident. Many hotels do not charge for parking for those staying in the hotel.

  "Have stayed here a number of times and think it is great value for money. Smack bang next to the DLR, literally across the road. 15-20 minutes from the O2. Half an hour ish from Central London" (107569818)

  Location is great in an area which is obviously developing. Great value for money so close to central London. Food and drink priced very reasonably and of good quality. Brilliant transport links.

  Rooms a little stuffy and short on fresh air but so are a lot of hotels. Decor and furnishings look a little tired. Shower facilities only, which is fine for me but not everybody and they are a little snug if you are a larger person

  Hotel was clean and tidy

  We were not told of any deposit on arrival and had to pay £20 because we were paying cash when we was checking out we was just given our money back with no goodbye or even a thank you for staying with us we will not be staying there again.

  A short walk from the Excel Conference Centre. Clean and orderly with all usual facilities.

  The TV signal went down intermittently. The twin room was quite small.

  Not the Hilton, but also not the Hiltons prices, small comfortable room, nice and clean, excellent staff and restaurant. great if you're visiting nearby places, it's a warm, friendly place to lay your head, no facilities ( spa, pool,gym etc), but the price shows this. I'd reccommend it to anyone for cheap business travel.

  The location is a bit ghetto, but that's outside.

  the room was really clean and it was really useful to have a hair dryer and i was really pleased that there was a kettle with tea and coffee suplied each day if it was used this was really good

  Fairly convenient for 02 arena, the purpose of our stay.

  Work being undertaken on DLR that necessitated bus then train travel, then taxi back to hotel after 02 event.

  Charged for use of room safe, toilet door poorly repair, paid for 'superior' room - what a joke!!! Think I was biten by bed bugs.
