  Excellent welcome and very friendly staff.

  The rubber materss protector was very noisy and made the bed very hot. A fabric one would make all the difference.

  "Excellent choice for a short break. Near to Boulogne Ferry." (108019910)

  Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Safe secure off road parking.

  The restaurant only served 3 course dinners - no snacks or smaller meals.

  "Were it not for the dinner menu, the helpful staff and more than acceptable wine list I am not sure we would have chosen to use this hotel more than once." (97272407)

  The food is extremely good and is the only reason we book at this hotel

  The hotel rooms have an air of tiredness about them and whilst clean do not inspire one to do other than spend as few waking hours as possible in them

  "If you want to stay in a hotel that is clean, comfortable and typically French then this is as good as any. Dont expect tea and coffee making facilities as this is not the French way. Just expect good accomadation, nice food and non english speakig hosts. The TV is in French but then again your are in France so what do you expect. Bon Voyage!" (99723115)

  This hotel is typical of a small French hotel. Everything worked and it was a nice place to stay

  "The hotel was good as an overnight stay. The room was well decorated, clean and beds comfortable. The hotel restaurant had an excellent menu and helpful and efficient staff. Worth a stay if only for the food." (99476937)

  The room was cold at check-in time (3pm) and the heating did not come on until past 4pm which during a winter stay was not very welcoming.

  "The hotel is in a plain village with few amenities. Staff were polite. The breakfast was very basic and not really worth the money. Cold croissants and rolls, eggs and 'bacon' that was kept warm for what seemed a long period as the eggs were congealed. The fruit salad had run out by 9am on one day and staff were unable to provide any more despite us and others pre booking breakfast. The bar was not staffed and was very limited. It was closed and in darkness at 10pm!" (99445888)

  "A nice pleasant hotel with a lovely faded seaside feel to it. This can be very pleasant. Accommodation is not outstanding and the breakfast for which you are asked to pay separetely is not worth the price asked. I would recommed that you bring your own breakfast or go elsewhere." (3305135237)

  We arrived late due to a delay in the ferry crossing. The hotel left keys out and we were able to use the room. That was excellent and very welcome.

  The breakfast was poor and overpriced for the quality of the food provided.

  Very clean and spacious rooms. Nicely decorated. We especially liked the fact we got lots of towels, as we had just stayed in another hotel the week before that gave us two towels for three of us. The staff were extremely freindly and helpful.

  "Booking process very easy and straightforward. I had read the reviews so knew in advance that the 'picture' was of the front building and that accommodation was in a new 'block' of modern design behind this. Seems to be 'family run'. Very pleasant, very clean,if a little 'basic'. Restaurant 'on site' is very good but limited choice of 'menu prix fixe' and no 'a la carte'-good food 'though." (3304822024)

  Although we had paid for breakfast it was only by chance that we found out that this included an omelette if required. We had to ask for this at breakfast,it did not appear that it was going to be 'offered'.

  "All the hotel staff were extremely helpful during our stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent for our group of 10 guys each morning and the room accomodation was clean and tidy. The service from the hotel staff at evening dinner and at the small hotel bar each evening was 1st class. We had a very good trip." (3304007051)

  Although basic accomodation the rooms were clean and tidy. Booking -In at Reception was easy and the Reception staff very helpful.

  Nothing everything was fine. Minor point some of the guys would have liked tea/coffee making facilities within their room but this was not a major issue.
