  Good Parking (but not very secure)

  Breakfast far too expensive at £9.75, Poor lighting in the rooms, very small windows which only tilt, very poor ventilation, no Air-con anywhere, very small Television.

  central,easy walk to town centre,staff very helpful and friendly. Clean throughout. Good room with all the right facilities. Great Italian restaurant just 10 metres from the entrance!

  The duvet was too heavy for this time of the year- a lighter version or a sheet would have been nice.

  Relatively efficient and clean. Staff in restaurant good. Reception staff put through call from my husband to restaurant which was helpful. Provided VAT receipt by fax when I requested.

  Had to pay up front. Unused sofa bed was covered by sheet. It would have been nice if it had been made up as sofa. I was almost charged twice for breakfast at which there was no toast and staff occupied in rearranging mushrooms and cutlery got in way rather than assisted.

  Reasonable price, good location and very prompt customer service via phone and email from hotel staff.

  I needed to book a room in a hotel that would allow 3 adults and 1 child in the one room. Through the booking process it indicated this hotel would allow me to do this by saying additional beds for adult or child could be made available. There was no contact number/email to contact the hotel to double check. I had to actually book the room and give out my visa details before any contact numbers were made available to me. Once I had the number to call the hotel they told me I couldnt book a room suitable for my needs so I then had to cancel the booking. I have ticked things as poor on my rating as it wont let me submit my comments without the boxes filled out so that part of this questionnaire is not totally correct.

  "On the whole, a lovely, modern hotel, kept to a high standard. Rooms are well equipped. Location was ideal for anyone travelling by train and also not far from the city centre. Plenty of various places to eat nearby and also a restaurant as part of the hotel. Cost of accommodation (room without breakfast) is a bit pricey, but still - a lovely place to stay." (99280451)

  Very nice facilities. Presentation of room and cleanliness was good. Private Parking available and very close to Train Station.

  Housekeeping coming round very early. Although this only happened on the last morning of our stay, Housekeeping knocked on the room door before 8am! Breakfast is served past that time and check out isn't until midday at the latest, so it does seem to be far too early. We were hoping for a little bit of a lie in before our long journey back home. We did receive an apology from House Keeping, but I am sure it would be appreciated by all who stay not to have a knock at the door and someone trying to enter your room that early!

  Very good location, close to the train station, which served the purpose of my journey perfectly well. Nice basic clean and tidy room, well worth of the money spent. Very friendly and polite staff. And an ice machine in the corridor!!!

  In general I was pleased with the accommodation, nothing to dislike.
