  Shower cold until I realised that by lowering the shower head it got hotter. Then too hot. Ouch.

  Staff were very helpful and flexible. I needed early breakfast on Saturday and was offered a cooked breakfast 30min earlier than the usual breakfast time without even having to ask. It realy made a difference.

  Unfortunately my stay was badly affected by a funeral being held in the hotel on Friday. I did not feel I could not eat in the restaurant that night due to the continued presence of members of the funeral party into the evening using the restaurant as a bar, they 'took over' the atmosphere of the hotel and I remained 'confined' to my room for the duration off my stay. I would not have booked had I known.

  "Hotel was our second-choice and we were disappointed not to be able to stay at the Ramada with the rest of our group. Room price seemed very high for a 3-star, although it was a busy bank holiday weekend." (107761127)

  Staff were, without exception, excellent (reception, housekeeping and the bar.) Room was ready within half an hour when we checked in around 1.30 pm. Good water pressure in shower. Tea, coffee & biscuits in the room. Very nice cooked breakfast - poached egg was perfect. The bar was light, modern, clean and inviting.

  The latest check-in time of any hotel I've ever stayed at. A very small room that with over-powering decor - much too busy for size of the room. Everything creaked - the floor, the walls, every movement resulted in creaks. Walls too thin so could hear everything from above and nearby. Window either opened completely or was shut, nothing in between. Stains in the toilet bowl. Decor in bathroom very dated.

  Friendly staff and good range of food.

  Extremely noisy door closings in our room and adjacent rooms meant disturbances at night and in the morning. Strongly suggest the fitting of quiet door closures.

  "Can't say i was unhappy but the whole point of staying was that i wouldn't be tired travelling up and won from Glasgow Friday morning/night & Saturday morning/night. The problem with the noise meant I ended up with no sleep for 36 hours with a full day and drive back to Glasgow on Saturday night without sleep for 36 hours" (107395702)

  Staff were absolutely superb from arrival to bar/restaurant and check-out. I do not think I have ever been as impressed with such welcoming, helpful and friendly staff

  Only bad point was the fact that i did not get a wink of sleep. I was in room 210 which is directly above the bar, the drone of the refrigerators kept me awake all night, the intermitten switch on/off of the ice machine and dropping of the ice cubes was a nightmare. I gave up eventually at 3.17 am, went for a walk, then back to the room and watched BBC News from 4am until I got up for breakfast at 6.30am.

  Close to the center of Perth, quiet place, we couldn`t hear any of noise from the other rooms, or the hallway.

  The bed was very uncomfortable,the hairdryer wasn`t working fine, and the radio was bad manners to the room!

  "Lovely welcome superb food and staff helpful and generous but the fact that you are not able to sleep means we could not stay here again which is such a shame as the location to the town is excellent :-( Needs some modernisation to the bedrooms" (107330911)

  Staff were fantastic really heplful the restaurant was superb we had a gorgeous meal and breakfast. Rooms were lovely bedding nice, clean. Parking was great and the location of the hotel is excellent.

  We could not open the window and leave it open there was no latch and the room was too hot to sleep. The floor boards need changing the noise from upsatirs is awful again another reason not to be able to sleep

  Breakfast ok

  No net curtains at window in the room therefore for privacy had to draw curtains during the day.Shower keeps moving due to pressure floor gets wet.Could not relax whilst eating or having a drink in the bar (it was like sitting in IKEA).Tables were chunky and too high.The room was freezing and the radiators in the room were very inadequate.

  Hotel was clean, tidy and staff friendly and helpful.

  Hotel lacked a lounge area where you could sit and relax with a drink after dinner or in the afternoon

  "The hotel was clean well run & all members of staff were most helpful especially the reception staff on duty. Parking at this hotel was also a good point as perth is badly lacking car parking space. One other point has to be the excellent food, the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! A lovely hotel where we would choose to come back to the next time we visit Perth" (107807271)

  hotel has well trained helpful & friendly staff, wonderful food, it was clean, warm & the Hotel has its own car park.

  bed mattress in our room was quite lumpy, which we only discovered late at night when we got into it but I'm sure if we said to the staff they would have moved us , but it was only for one night, And this was the only poor point in this lovely hotel

  "Overall a good value for money hotel if booked via agent, but I would not pay the prices displayed at reception. Restaurant serves until 22.00, I dined at 20.00 and found that some menu items were unavailable which I found surprising since there was only 6 others dining and what I did eat wasn't of a very good standard. Other than the restaurant the room was comfortable, apart from the very noisy bathroom extractor fan. I would use this hotel again but would find somewhere else to eat. " (107493558)

  Good food, Great service

  Room was poor standard, room's had been cleaned to a fasion but not very well, discoloured grout in bathroom and poor decoration, uneven floor. Not very appealing

  we upgraded our room and on our arrival the room was small and we queried if this was an upgrade room. We were allocated another room which was to a good standard

  "The hotel is decieving from the main road it looks a bit run down but we were pleasantly surprised when we entered and were met by a friendly and helpful staff." (97379468)

  The check in staff were the friendliest that I have come across in my travels. Enjoyed the shortbread.

  decor needs updating and bathroom paintwork needs help.
